Relived that her appeal has been rejected. Hope baby K's family can finally have some closure now the court case has come to an end.
I think a lot of the public ( including journalists) don't necessarily understand how unusual it is for a NNU baby to suddenly collapse and die without reason. I think people see a baby born 10 weeks early and only half the weight of a fullborn baby and see it as a possibility that it might not survive. Yet in reality very few babies die from prematurity alone (unless it's very premature). They then hear about the tap bacteria and presume that's what the hospital is trying to cover up, ignoring the complete lack of evidence. I think the MSM think there's potentially a big story in her being the victim of MoJ and this is giving more credit to the conspiracy theories then they deserve.

It's strange, the whole reason the New Yorker article was not available in the UK, was because it might make a jury think she was innocent.
