It’s the same pattern every single time
Child randomly becomes unwell > gets moved to room 1 > all hell breaks loose

How is this even disputable anymore, the only thing missing is her finally admitting she’s guilty

Having had a couple of chest drains myself for pneumothorax (one of which was removed with no pain relief) the thought of her moving them or pulling at them is sickening. :(

The more we hear, the more of an evil witch she really is.

Added to her arrogance and apparent trying to 'one up' NJ today with some of her comments, I can't understand anyone believing her innocence.

Wonder how the Facebook weirdo is gonna defend her today? Its all beyond coincidence, a single coincidence maybe but so very many 'coincidences' all at the exact time babies went off is damning. It just doesn't happen.

Just seen this on Sky News...

Nick Johnson, the prosecution barrister, then asks if she didn't like her new colleague on the unit.

"I don't agree with that," Letby says.

He says Letby had also fallen out with another colleague, who "wouldn't talk to you in the aftermath of [children A & B]."

(RECAP: Children A and B are twins - Child A died within 90 minutes of Letby coming onto shift. The prosecution says he 'most likely' died after being injected with air. His elder sister was attacked 28 hours later but survived.)

She again disputes this.

Would Ashleigh Hudson be the new colleague and Melanie Taylor who wouldn't speak to her after Child A & B??

definitely think Mel Taylor after A and B.

Ashleigh Hudson was 8-9 months into trained care but doesn’t say when she started at COCH. Child I is the first case she is involved in.

The BMA are currently having a dispute with CoCH. Not a good PR day for the trust

Definitely think MT is the one who wouldn't speak to her after A&B since LL was being a creepy weirdo constantly trying to talk about Child A's death.

'Nice Lucy' is falling apart isn't it? Not only from her behaviour on the stand but it's becoming apparent some of her colleagues couldn't stand her and that she was a right cow to them.

I’m glad they’ve called out her beef with MT and Hudson! Shows she wasn’t as well liked or popular as the media photos show her. And shows that even before the doctors called it, other colleagues knew she was off. Ties in nicely with her spending every day on the stand hinting they’re all incompetent, disrespectful, or conspirators.

How unhinged do you have to be to fall out with a colleague over where you were assigned on one day (the nurse she fell out with after A & B)?

Also pulling up her FB likes when she was supposed to be attending to her baby! And telling NJ she doesn’t know the person whose photo she liked…. I mean, that’s normal behaviour for her too is it, to like the photos of total strangers while at work?

I’m pretty sure the police searched that area as well as her house in 2018
I’m not surprised. This is not a coincidence imo. I bet some of the babies have memorials in the baby garden 😰

What’s the betting MT had her suspicions about LL after A&B. Was it her that said she was on a bad run by then already?

Thanks for clarifying why she had the fall out - I couldn't remember who she was the texting weirdo with. Again, like someone said earlier, why would colleagues at home want a running depressing commentary? It's like she also wanted to be the first to tell them the news/the drama.

I would definitely avoid a colleague like this. Nothing but bad news to share like some human harbinger.

It's interesting the references to her falling out with people...Nice Lucy wasn't perhaps as popular and nice as she thought people thought about her. I expect some of the doctors who only worked with her in short burst
S may have had that view but I bet the nursing staff who worked with her day in and day out had a better idea of what she was really like.

Just had a catch up. I like how Nicks gone back to asking her if she's lying after getting told off for it last week.

LL stating that 'that's my error' for bad timings or 'someone else has mis-documented' or ' I just didn't write it in' repeatedly and justifying this as we're are only human. Yes, mistakes happen and all of the above are feasible BUT if I was working on a ward like this where there were babies dying left right and centre my notes would be the best sodding notes you've ever seen. I'm certain that during all this probably after it started to seem out of the ordinary no other nurse or doctor on that ward made a mistake with their documentation, more likely it was above and beyond perfect. You would all massively be covering your arses wouldn't you if the culprit wasn't obvious early on, or even when you thought there might be someone. Everyone would have been so super vigilant and paranoid about errors like that.

She is then asked about the help her colleague gave her.

"I can't remember every detail and I think it would be unrealistic if I could remember every detail," she tells the court.

copied from Chester Standard. To me that reads as her true thought coming out, it’s unrealistic to remember every detail so instead she just conveniently remembers/makes up the ones that help her.
Her phrasing comes across as so odd at times, would love to know if it’s like that in person.
@nosycowmoo waiting on your updates! Quite understand you prioritising your babies for half term 😊

My two favourite lines from cross examination from him have been "you had nothing better to do on Christmas day?" and "your making all this up as you go along aren't you" I'm forgetting more I'm sure.

She's asking us to believe that she made an error in recording some timings for the transfusion, but then also accept that she claims baby E's mum was lying about the 9pm timing and that she hadn't made an error, mum, dad and other staff had. Hoping BNE really hammers that point home in his closing statement as it's clearly said in her own words yet undermines all her other evidence surely

Absolutely agree. There’s always that one staff member who thinks they’re above everyone else and I’m sure the others probably had a right good witch about her at times.
