I agree that the doctors don't have any reason to collude to cover up hospital and trust errors or failures, its ludicrous and offensive for her to make the desperate, baseless claim.
I do hope there are lots of lessons learnt from this whatever the outcome. That people are listened to when they raise concerns (obviously not having staff suspended left right and centre on someone's say so, but mechanisms to investigate fairly etc) for starters. Whilst understaffing runs deep, management ignoring or dismissing people is widespread and a real problem.
