She's very secretive about where she works now but it's obviously matalan, like her sister, because she's already given it away.
1. When finding work trousers she said her sister just wore jeans but she wanted proper trousers
2. Her sister did her a massive favour one evening so she left her gifts for when she finished work late. It was clearly swapping shifts so she worked the morming then could go travel to her boyfriends.
3. Other people have made comments about recognising her work uniform that she was trying to hide.

Didn’t her mum have Natasha quite young? Like 20 or something? So it’s learned behaviour. You could see it coming a mile off with Laura. I’m sure she’ll love her baby and the family seem to at least care for each other but it’s a shame she ended up with a kid by such a loser. But maybe it will be the making of her who knows. She can still have a career or go to uni having a baby may make it harder but millions of women still do it. It might make her strive for a different life.

I read that some staff are back in primark stores prepping for when they eventually open so that’s possibly what Lucille is having to do at Matalan. The shops will want to start doing their remerch now as I don’t think it will be long before they start reopening.

Matalan would open in phase 3 under the restrictions-lifting process we’re operating in Scotland. That will be 11 August at the absolute earliest. It’ll just be clearing out old stock and preparing for new coming in.

Even if she wanted to focus on what I eats, that would make sense if she was someone who could cook and show recipes etc. But she doesn’t. She eats a terrible diet and thinks not being able to cook is a personality trait. Her what I eats are just the same old junk food and fast food on cycle with her showing bland food and going on about how “amazing” it looks, and pointing out any fruit or veg to go “see guizzz, I do eat fruit and veg, lots of you say I don’t”

Yeh her food is always awful and bland, mainly beige. I cannot believe she isn’t using this time at home to at least learn basics

Thanks for hearing me out; I really hope you reach your professional goals and otherwise Yeah, it's all down to the individual and can depend on what they've grown up around or who with, which I think is especially the case for her tbh. Very 'small city' ideals she has which I think many people just can't relate to.

I totally get that, I live somewhere with 1,500 ish people and the majority stay here and work in small retail jobs or in restaurants which is up to them. They’re happy enough and at the end of the day we need people to work those jobs. Just personally for me travelling and having a family doesn’t seem like my thing so I think I should be more open minded when hearing other people who aren’t as keen on working at a professional goal the same way I can’t see myself saving to go somewhere sunny, just doesn’t appeal to me.

It’s weird, she’s mentioned him enough to suggest they are still together but she isn’t pining for him like most people would be for their other half’s. If I was in her situation I may even choose to isolate with my boyfriend. She’s probably so awkward around him that it’s a relief not having to see him.

I'm a primary school teacher and i truly don't see her capturing a classroom of children and managing behaviour.

Didn’t Laura work at Matalan first? So I suppose it’s easier working somewhere where your sister works and you’ll easily get to know people through her. Also if I remember rightly, M&S was a lot further for her to travel? I get the feeling Matalan is not that far from her. I think the Matalan is on a retail park whereas M&S was in the town. I mean I could be wrong here but I remember when she worked at M&S having to get up so early to get quite a long bus there

It’s not against working in retail, I was a retail manager for over a year. It is more the lack of ambition None of my staff were happy to settle and just do that all of their lives (lets be real if you can do it all of your life you are a saint)...It’s almost as if she lets life passively happen to her

If her period cramps are bad cos of bad diet it Really can be due to that- when I’ve eaten way better I’ve noticed my cramps are better! Odd but true
I’m sure the doctor couldn’t have been quite as useless as she made out as well, it’s just she’s blaming her depression on the pill which it probably isn’t due to. Let’s be honest she just has depression and anxiety and needs meds for that
