I think alot of us here, myself included, had very traumatic births (a fair few things happened, and ended with me collapsing and having a seizure, quite a few blood transfusions and a 2 week stay in hospital with my baby) BUT at no point have I ever even thought about it being her fault. In fact, despite being diagnosed with severe PND, I always put my little girl first and always will. I treat her like the most amazing person in my life because thats what she is.
Yes it was hard, parenting is and I didnt have any family (or hired help) to help me out....but I didn't whine on about it on social media. I gave my little girl the love and attention she deserves, and made sure that she was okay after everything....I mean, traumatic births must be hard for the babies too!
I remember my little girl being placed on me for skin on skin contact while I was pretty much out of it (shortly after seizure) as her dad wasn't allowed to stay, and at no point have I ever thought she was thrown on me, or whatever Louise said about her little boy! I felt bad that I couldn't offer more reassurance and cuddles as I was hooked up to an IV and a Transfusion....but I was more concerned about her feeling loved because thats what you do as a parent!
Louise annoys me so much because being a parent is the most amazing privilege and no child should ever feel like they were the cause of their parents distress!

Her latest stories are awful. She wishes she was a baby and could start life fresh? That just reeks of utter detachment from her child, thinking about herself and not this sweet little life she’s brought into the world. As much as we all hope she’s receiving help for whatever trauma she’s been through, I hope there’s additional help to heal this relationship with her son because if she carries on like this she’s going to do so much damage to him emotionally.

She’s insufferable!! I felt so sorry for her at the beginning but she’s a nightmare at the moment. I’ve had a friend who had to give birth to a still born baby and has had miscarriages since who has really tried to get on with life again and would love to be able to have a baby. I’m sure it was hard whatever she went through but keep it private now.

She has found the Shrewsbury hospital story triggering but does she not think all her cryptic stories are triggering for pregnant women? Ryan seems an absolute aggressive dick as well. Yeh he might have done most of the baby duties but I would bet money on them having various nannies. He’s loving the attention as well and does not seem like a nice person.

Yeah considering she has inflammatory bowel disease you’d think she’d do everything she can to prevent bowel problems for Leo further down the line

I’ve finally unfollowed. The ignorant comment about Shrewsbury tipped me over the edge. She has no idea what those women must’ve gone through. Not remotely similar to having a healthy baby like her

also the 9 hour sleep? Pls do me a favour and kindly F off you sad woman. Try bonding with your kid for once

It’s really boring that she keeps dropping in the fact she’s still so traumatised yet won’t tell anyone what actually happened - and without her mentioning she’s still ✨traumatised✨ you wouldn’t really know as she seems fine in her other posts

First Mother’s day away from her new wee baby? Omg 😳

I used to work in a crisis team, im now a health visitor and I can categorically say those poor staff would have had to have a minute to themselves before going into and leaving her house. She is a moron - ptsd can’t be formally diagnosed until around 12 weeks after an incident. I suspect she has adopted the diagnosis herself? Or paid privately.

I think her trauma has been a post partum haemorrhage and sunsequebt sepsis? Which plenty of women have absolutely overcome. Id just like to highlight that I am not slaghimv anyone who has developed mental health difficulties after a difficult delivery. Just that Louise is (in my opinion) using it to up her engagement and is without a shadow of a doubt, exaggerating her symptoms.

Ooooh. The Ry-Man has treated us to a story of him buying nappies. Who the fuck stands in Sainsbos or wherever and films themselves putting stuff in a trolley. I would DIE LAUGHING if I saw it IRL.

Am I actually reading that right! Shes let him chew on a piece of melon?? Wtf! Hes not ready for that you can tell when hes eating the food he isnt quite ready despite what she says. Its bullshit saying they cant change his milk now after 4 months, my sons was changed after 4 months as he was diagnosed with an allergy to both lactose and the protein in milk. She just cant be arsed to bottle feed and wind him and have to hold him. I fear something is going to happen to that little boy.
Also adding an extra scoop of milk to his bottles will only result in making him poorly, I cant imagine a professional advising that.

Oh here we go. Put the phone down if it's that bad FS.

No offence but if I was in a place that's as bad as she's making it out, I'm not sure my husband would be comfortable with me going a walk on my own with a baby. If it's really that bad you live hour to hour.

Edited to add - just saw Ryan's stories, he's trying to find his abs apparently while his fiance is having a difficult few hours. Either he is a crap partner or she had a normal off morning like we all do.

Long time lurker here but that most recent story from Ryan has pushed me to finally post. I am so fed up with seeing influential instagrammers sharing unsafe crib and cot set ups. This morning I read on The Lullaby Trust's fb page that Jac Jossa (from Eastenders fame) is working with them on an "Instagram vs. reality" campaign and it can't come soon enough. I like to tell myself that the things we see on instagram aren't the final set ups used for sleep, as you'd be a questionable person to actively ignore (as I'm sure they're being messaged) significant research on sleep safety... but it's their followers who aren't aware who I worry about.

The beginning of the End - a book by Louise Thompson
Chapter one

It was a cool Autumn day in London and even with the stench of child poverty in the air I knew I had been awarded this wealthy lifestyle just by being myself. I could feel the breeze telling me that today was of importance. That today my life would change.

I had spent the day doing what I had done for the last year, lounging around the house eating salmon and kale. The difference in today was that I was 40 weeks pregnant. I had had an amazing pregnancy, I felt like the earth had moved differently for me and I knew birth would come easily as I’d spent the last 40 weeks obsessing over hypnobirth and preparing my above average body for the mountain I was yet to climb.

I felt my first contraction at 4:04pm. It hurt, but not in any way comparable to what I was to go through in the following weeks, months and years.

I had been advised by health professionals that going private would be my only option, that a celebrity of my calibre couldn’t bring a child into this world in a poor hospital surrounded by poor people. After being in labour for what felt like eternity I finally went to hospital. I had only spent a few hours doing my make up that day and that had been my biggest regret of all.

With each contraction came a strong wave of pain, I knew with each gut ripping pain that these must have been far worse than any other woman had experienced during labour, something wasn’t right. My uterus was contracting stronger than my heart had ever been crushed by Spencer. Something in my gut told me that there was something wrong. That maybe choosing a male that was double my weight and height may have been a mistake. I should have stuck with Niall.
Everything from then happened in a blur. This human I had grown was ripped from my body, and as I lay there open on the operating theatre for all the world to see, the mountains of doctors and privately paid surgeons worked tirelessly to save my abs. They kept me awake for the whole operation, extremely uncommon I know but I am Louise thompson, it meant I could put into detail one day how I danced with death, not once but multiple times. How I clung on more than an average fat person. How my body defeated the odds and birthed a child.

And this was it, the trauma I’d be waiting for, the story of how I would make my living for the next 5 years.
i have followed this thread for ages and shake my head along with you all along the way, but this post has been the one to finally break my lurker status. This is bloody hilarious and I couldn’t sleep tonight if I didn’t tell you that you are wasted if you don’t write in some way professionally 😂😂

I haven’t been lucky enough to have had babies yet, which makes Louise the Narc even more irritating to me, but I have some kind of morbid curiosity to find out why she is such an attention seeing weirdo!

I had severe birth trauma, very nearly died. My mother and partner were told to prepare to say goodbye. Would I plaster attention seeking posts like this all over my Instagram without explaining what happened? Would I hell

Notice how she says “when you suffer with heavy depression”…. She is literally obsessed with making herself sound worse of than everyone else, she is a major attention seeker

It’s weird because it’s like she doesn’t want happy smiley photos of her and Leo on her own grid incase it takes away from her sorrow 🙈
