You know how we all have a weird crush? Louis is mine
I know the background to this but seeing someone discover it for the first time is killing me omgAnyone watching Stormzy is 72 years old is 72 years old? I find him really fascinating. The world he has come from is miles away from anything I know but I just love him. Louis is so sensitive to his surroundings and brings out things in people by being humble and listening so well.
I have no idea what the 72 years old is about??
It won’t let me delete!! But I didn’t write the first one!!
Only saw the end, but I'm confused. Rita's mum is a doctor, she attended Sylvia Young's and they have video camera footage of them growing up (video cameras were not cheap in the early 90s!) And we're being fed she had a poverty stricken upbringing?!That was a dull final interview, less 'Louis Theroux interviews Rita Ora' and more 'Louis Theroux sits in awe as Rita Ora tells him how great she is'.
He needs to do a UK based series again. I find America less and less interesting as time goes on.Yes he has totally lost his touch. These three docs were weak. He needs something new and juicy to dive into- not bloody porn for the 80th time. And as for rap…. anyone with a brain knows that rap music comes with a lot of crime and shootings attached. It was presented like shocking news.
The last really good documentary he did was the alcoholism one. Really gone downhill since.
Delighted he's back on our screens. He's back... Wish it was a UK one though
Louis Theroux returns to BBC Two with brand new series Forbidden America
BBC Factual announces that Louis Theroux is to return to BBC Two and BBC iPlayer with a new three-part series, Louis Theroux: Forbidden America (w/t) exploring the impact of the internet and social media on some of the most controversial corners of American entertainment.www.bbc.co.uk
I can't help but compare him to Stacey Dooley sometimes and the fact that he asks the right questions and doesn't really state his opinion makes his documentaries so much more interesting and engaging imoI love Louis’ technique of interviewing people, he seems to not need to say much to get people to open up to him. He also has a knack of asking the right questions in the right way - very balanced and not accusing, but always ends with people showing their true colours. Love his docs!
