She's been buying a load of vivienne westwood shite as well and snowglobes and justifying it by any means
I never understood the collectible snow globe thing. Surely if you want one from New York, you get one from New York? But i forgot she went to New York and basically ate dollar pizzas and didn’t do anything to save money 😂 fuck that, holidays are about enjoying everything about it

I think based on her latest post we are in for more 'fashion' content, so grab yourself a bucket of popcorn and watch the mess unfold!
At least she wears clothes that fit (mostly) compared to Emma Drew who buys 6 sizes too small 😂

Does anyone remember when she made all her family paving slabs for Xmas? Literally painted a fucking paving slab.
That's mean and stingy, not frugal! Imagine how her family members who spent money on gifts for her must have felt about their broken paving slabs. 😳

I know that I'm going to be criticised for this, but YOLO. Maybe I am being unfair and it is wrong for me to have these thoughts and feelings, but it has wound me up that Lisa is receiving access to these services when she's too fucking tight to spend money on food that isn't instant noodles.

I know people who have been waiting over a year for access to CBT on the NHS. When I have wanted access to a physiotherapist, therapist, dietician, Slimming World, gym - you name it - I've paid for it myself.

It strings knowing that she's sitting on £20k and using services that I think could be better used by someone who actually genuinely needs help.
I agree with this!

I'm a full time student with just a student loan to manage on but I'm paying for a private therapist. I'm trying to be better with money but I know what I'm doing now is helping myself it's investment in my future.

I couldn't sit there with 20k in the bank and take up a space on an NHS waiting list knowing there are people in more need.

However it's just a show of priority isn't it, these people just love to prioritize the money in the bank and showing it off rather than looking at the other things that could impact the money earning potential in the future like weight or past trauma and the implications.

Yeah it all has to be paid back. I am paying back my student loan but luckily my degree is a qualification so I cant do my job without my degree which makes paying it back easier. Too many people doing mickey mouse courses that don't get any qualification and getting into big debt just so they can go to uni. They just think oh sure I pay back minimal each month but wants the point of doing all these university courses unless you want a good paying job.

I dont understand these people who do undergraduate, then go on and do masters and then PHD without working in between. Some of them just want to be eternal students. Not sure what route Lisa has went but don't think she knows herself what she wants at the end of it all
Tbf Student Finance loan debt isn’t debt in the traditional sense of the word, and it doesn’t make financial sense to make additional payments (unless you know you’re going to clear it before it’s wiped). So no shade from me for taking the additional loan payments.

However, I completely agree with you on Lisa’s lack of direction. For someone who talks about her life goals (chateau in France, etc) so often, she never talks about her career goals (which you’d think would be a big part of a personal finance Instagram account). This leads me to think she doesn’t have any - or, at the very least, they’re ill-defined. She seems chronically disorganised in other areas of her life, too (poor diet, no routine - lol, a baby will be a shock!), so it doesn’t surprise me.

I cannot stand Clair. She’s so unbelievably smug that she makes braggy Lisa look humble. I hate the photos she posts of her struggle meals. The portions are tiny. She’s always boasting about how she stretches two sausages and half a carrot to make six meals. Her husband works in fitness, I don’t see how he can survive on those meagre rations.

I really struggle with following this one. She comes across as quite smug in most of her posts. I think she's a bit work shy too. I think having a real job and not just getting student loans will come as a shock to her.

Her wife seems to be a hard worker and seems to 'treat them both' whereas Lisa fritters her money on crap shoes and necklaces. Along with all her crap glam up crafts that just look like utter Shite.

Glad to see the 'free' dieting help has been used too 🙄
…She fritters all her money on crap that she then declutters.

Must be nice to be able to increase your mortgage overpayment to £500 a month in the middle of a pandemic.

I appreciate be finances are very individual but I also follow lots of people who are struggling to put food on the table right now. Just makes me feel a bit ugh.
Totally agree. When you see her being all "mindful" about her day and just doing the odd bit of work it really grates to read that on a "thrifty" account when there are people slogging their guts out right now - and juggling it with home-schooling kids - and are struggling to find enough to make ends me. Really misjudging her audience and sticking two fingers up to them whilst she's at it in my opinion!

Has over 20k in the bank and makes people know she’s saving for kids, holiday homes x3, a mulberry bag etc etc... in a pandemic. I’d love to know how she thinks a £500 maternity fund is going to get her through the first 6 months - a year of a baby 😂
