Lisa sent a voicemail earlier on her insta channel saying there is about 2 days of stock left of the Betty palette just in case anyone’s on the fence about it 🐈

So I restocked for the summer (my busiest work time) … and I got Ione and the pinpoint to try. Very excited!
AND - I managed to stack 5 discount codes (I tried for a 6th but was told I’d reached the maximum) for a 25% discount! I never knew we could stack them so thank you to whomever in this thread mentioned it before! Brilliant 🥰

Lisa Eldridge let's you stack the 5% discount codes
@thegirlscout as @usefullyuseless said - it’s the LE site. I just claimed my points as 5% discounts and kept adding the codes at checkout until it wouldn’t let me add any more! 😂 Such a great thing to know as I thought I could only use one at a time. They don’t tell you anywhere that you can stack them.
See my order attached. As they say here in Ireland, it was a tasty deal!

It’s just on her website. It’s under the Lisa & Me tab if you want to sign up.

Can anyone who is a devotee of the skin tint let me know if you use it as is or with a powder, and if so, which one? Loose or pressed? I can get quite shiny and the tint is dewy on me as is.
I’m absolutely loving the seamless buffing brush to apply it with. Gets into all the nooks and crannies of my face and really blends it to perfection, so much better than using fingers. I’ve used it with the seamless foundation too and had really impressive results. I bought it last week when space nk had their 20% off. Love its size too, chunky and compact.

I love the skin tint and I do use it with powder sometimes.

If it’s a regular day, and I’m using it to look a little more polished than no makeup at all, I never apply powder. I usually prime my face with a good serum and then Embryolisse, skin tint, do the rest of my makeup, usually minimal - and then check if I need to touch up on the skin tint and then done.

However, if I am working a 12 hour day, or if work takes me to a venue where I need to look extra polished, I would set the skin tint with a powder. Again, I’d start by really priming my skin and then skin tint, then part of my make up (usually start with my eyes), then I apply powder - loose powder - knocked off my powder brush, sparingly applied to the areas where I usually shine - t zone mainly. Then finish make up, and use a clean brush to go over my entire face, which really seems to set the make up and blend and remove any excess. Saw it on a LE video and it was so clever. I don’t use blush contour as I don’t have time, and this takes a much shorter time than it does to explain! 🙂

Here’s the video where Lisa explains it. using a good brush to set and take make up off is just as important as putting the make up on.

I use Laura Mercier loose powder to set it, then it usually is ok on me. I have the CT powder compact to use when I’m out, but I only usually need to use it once

I don’t wear the tint often, as it doesn’t offer enough coverage for me. But when I do, I set with the Beauty Pie one powder wonder and that works fine!

Bohemian Cherry lippie looks really appealing but I'm not sure I should bother buying it. Or if it would look good on me. I'm really fair so I do like dark tones but not too dark?!

I never use powder because it just makes my oily skin look really dry, somehow. The tint works well and sticks around for me if I prep properly!

Bloody hell!

From the Reddit post ‘What’s the most overhyped makeup product in your opinion?’
I think their first mistake was dropping $2k on makeup in one go.

I'm not sure I'd describe anything as mediocre. But I also wouldn't spend 2k on make up that i didn't already know if Iiked. I wouldn't spend 2k at all but definitely not on a risk!
