Simome is another gorgeous nude. It's a bit pinker than toasted which is another gorgeous fudgy, beige nude, but is a ever so slightly deeper caramel colour. I love it. For a pink based nude ashes of roses is my favourite.

Please may someone recommend a nude LE lip? I'm pale, think shade 2, with red hair.

Thanks!
I’m T3 but could use T1.
For nude I’d say Kitten Mischief.
Rose Official is nice too but pinkier than Kitten Mischief.
I bought my friend KM for her birthday a couple of years ago (she was considering Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk) and she has repurchased it a twice since then and she’s a person who never spends much on make up. She isn’t as pale as me and has blonde hair.
I think it’s quite neutral and suits most people.

♥ Thank you, that's really useful to see. My least favourite palette i have is Fawn. I feel the same about the quality of shadows in that as you do about DG. Her velvet mattes are the formula I think takes a lot of work to build up to good coverage. The other mattes and shimmers are much better in my experience.
I think I'm going to go for it. The colours I'm particularly interested in, look great in your swatches.
Did you find your DG palette wasn’t as good as your others?
Mine was a gift. Had I bought it myself, I think I’d have contacted LE customer service. I’ve watched several YouTube videos and some have great pay off and others found it patchy like mine. I’m wondering if there was a bad batch,

Compared to Betty yes, but I think the mattes can be more temperamental, especially the khaki colour but I used it recently with a different brush and it seemed to go on stronger. Tomorrow I'll swatch Betty and DG in natural light like you did, on my arm so you can compare it to yours.

I am a red head who is shade 1 or 2 in the foundation. I love Kitten Mischief. It is my favourite lipstick. I was worried it would be too much as I am quite self conscious about drawing attention to myself but I love it.

Ah it could be the brush.
Aren‘t natural hair supposed to be better for powders? I keep meaning to invest in some.

Just swatched both Betty and DG. I think it's the two mattes that are sheer and have to be built up. These are one swipe

I think I was most disappointed in the gold/green metallic in DG tbh. If you compare it to my swatch of the green metallic in Sorcery, it just doesn’t pack the same punch.
I hope you like Sorcery.

I have to admit thats the only one from DG I've not really used. I've just swatched it and it looks really, really strong on my finger from swirling in the pan but does need to be built up on my hand. It might be that the Sorcery gold is the top tier of all metallics and others aren't going to match it. I recalled finding Betty very strong pigments but having just swatched them they aren't, or at least weren't on my arm and seemed stronger on my eyes.

These are the most neutral LE shades that I own. I am pretty much the same colouring as you.
The long swatch on the right is Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk. I’ve popped that on there because I know it’s a popular shade so you may already have it to compare.

I’m on holiday and at the villa there are some magazines left by previous guests. I just opened a Red magazine from July 2025 and saw this…,

Has anyone else seen previews of the new blushes? Looks like it could be a doe foot applicator and there are new shades.
I’m not a fan of the title of that blush. Usually she has great titles but that just sounds very Charlotte Tilbury.

I think with that title and the latest girlie artwork she’s trying to tap into the younger market

I also wonder why it’s taking so long to launch the new blushes? To release an image (and I presume press samples) to a magazine for its July issue and assuming they work 6-8 weeks in advance means the product must have been ready and tested etc. maybe there was another delay as I’m sure readers of that issue would have been emailing their customer service asking when they could buy it?
It looks like the formula has changed too as the previous blush was a lot thicker than the new packaging would allow.

I’m not a fan of the artwork, I usually don’t mind artwork like that but the eyes looked really odd haha. And the name is a pass for me. I hope she’s kept ‘Pink Soap’.

I chucked the holiday packaging in the recycling with the rest of the boxes. I can't imagine keeping it. Seems a waste to get artwork done for it.
