Why?!

Why not just take the post down, and re-post with the correct information? Leaving it up but turning off the comments means they are just making up their own narrative, they don’t want to enter into the discussion and don’t want to be called out on it.

This made me laugh. You love ‘helping’ Tegan because she lives in a beachside mansion where you spend any minute you can. Waiting to see content of Leigh helping change sheets on her friends bed who has a standard 2 bedroom apartment.

She was so tired from having to spend time with her kid yesterday that of course she’s just so sick and exhausted today, “burning the candle”. Try living in the real world Leigh. In a way, I am happy to see that they got the limited menu rather than having a blank cheque to order whatever their greedy little bellies wanted at no charge.
How she convinces venues that people follow her and her friends to get ideas on meals and hotel stays baffles me. I really think most of their followers are SAHM in the ‘burbs without big disposable incomes (absolutely no shade to SAHM).

I was coming here to say something similar…

She talks about how her life looks ‘perfect’ but I don’t think it looks that way at all. She’s always stressed out, very materialistic, doesn’t seem particularly happy with her husband or child, can only afford her lifestyle by grifting and selling her soul, and lives in a poky apartment.

Her life does not look perfect. She wants people to think it is.

And considering she has been pretty open about infertility, depression and anxiety, her morning sex life and everything in between, it seems very strange. And while we are on the subject of LC and her posse of strange friends, a deep dive of these threads has got me thinking a lot about Brooke, from an organised apartment who used to inspire me but now as I read how heavily controlled and stressful her life seems, I wonder if she is distancing herself from Kristen, Leigh and Amy, who are super trashy. How do they all know each other?!

I think Leigh’s understanding of having “the flu” is the same as her understanding of “urgent work” (ie cleaning makeup brushes) and “burning the candle at both ends” (having a gifted hotel stay and cosmetic treatments).

People who have the flu can find it hard to keep food down or walk to the bathroom. They don’t go out to Pilates, go out to dinner, go on walks and constantly post to Instagram
