Lee Ryan from Blue

OMG I have just realised I went to school with Verity!!! She was in the year above me and one of her brothers was in my class.

She is completely and utterly unrecognizable. I have seen this couple multiple times in the media and not once twigged that it was her. She looks monstrous.

Her real name is Verity Morley. She used to be blonde and quite pretty (the X factor photo above doesn't really do her justice). She is very, very petite, probably less than 5 ft. She was much admired throughout our school for her singing, she really does have a great voice. They used to play her recordings in the hall at lunchtime. She was popular. I don't remember her being unpleasant or anything but did get the impression she was quite steely. I didn't interact with her much though.

Her brother in my year was gentle, polite and likeable. Her mum is a bit of a harridan. Her dad is well known locally as a successful roofer. As a child, a friend's mum told me she'd reported the dad to the RSPCA for cruelty to his dogs as he was beating them. This woman was a bit crazy and volatile, but I'd never known her to lie. The Morley family do go hunting (shooting).

Interesting! It can’t be easy for his older kids if Lee’s still/been living in Spain and has had so many other kids in quick succession, you can imagine they’d feel left out.
I wonder how much effort he’s made to keep in touch and see them.

I wonder how much effort he’s made to keep in touch and see them.

And he keeps saying his kids and wife saved him. That can’t be nice for his two older kids.

Yeah they’ve had issues haven’t they. Her instagram used to be public a few years ago and she used to post pics of her and Lee taking Ryan on days out

Ah so glad I found this thread. Am a Blue tragic from way back. Still listen to them all the time. I feel as though Lee may have turned a corner - he’s looking so well and healthy on his TikTok. Seems to be sober and taking care of himself and is very involved in the three kids he has with verity. Did anyone see those alleged texts he sent to Rayn and Bluebell? Was a while ago but I hope they’ve mended their relationship since then.

They are on the Insta page leeryanfrombluefanpage - looks like Sammi his ex follows it… these were from a while back and I think since then he has posted with Bluebell and things are a little better. He really does look fit and healthy in his latest - Spain must be doing wonders for him.

Recently on his tiktok story they (the band) where working abroad Lee was saying he couldn't sleep and decided to use the hotel gym he said how things have changed and that back in the day at 2am he'd be falling out a club drunk.

Thanks, just had a look! So many fans in the comments defending him no matter what he does and insisting they’re fake but I don't get why they’d bother faking messages. If they were real it’s a real shame he was so negative to Rain about his mother and her family, no need for that!

Agree! I think they’re real. Must be hard for the two he had so young (in the same year, eek) to see him step up as a great dad. I noticed as well bluebell used to have her last name is Ryan but it’s now Byrne.

There was zero interaction with the crowd, either looking up or to the floor, or eyes closed. Seriously he couldn’t be bothered at all. I'm off to see Olly tomorrow night with Blue. I'll report back. I feel as if this could be the most disappointing support act ever. I saw him at Forest Live last year and it was incredible. Support was Daniel Bedingfield but he was so far up his own backside.

If it was back in the day yep, they would be the bigger name but none of their comebacks have been great. The three albums they have released have failed to crack the #10 with the last only getting #22 and their singles don't seem to have charted at all. I can only assume it's because it saves shelling out for their own tour but still gets them attention.
