Im late with thjs but listened to her podcast on bedgrudery. I don't think its jealousy or tall poppy syndrome it's just if you put yourself out there people will comment just like they comment on other people. And after listening to the podcast I think miriam seems qlot more grounded. Lauren loves herself but could be an immaturity thing too. The age difference very apparent in the pod. I know people don't like miriam but think she comes across good on it. Lauren not so much
I think it’s more that Irish people are sick of all these cretins getting ‘followers’ on TikTok and them getting ahead of themselves. The fact that they all paraded around EP getting to stay in the fancy tents, getting ferried around, buffet breakfast. It’s sickening. They offer nothing to society

I think maybe people have an issue with influencers as they do target a very young audience. Or the brands target them and the influencers don't really care as long as they get paid. Seems exploitative.

On the beg for a suit for her brother’s debs, a retailer reaches out to Lauren and of course the brother doesn’t look happy being dragged into this. He clearly doesn’t want to be involved with her social media rubbish at all and now Lauren is making the store look bad because of her ego. Her saying “you gonna show it on your face or anything” made me wince - it’s all so performance-driven! The guy didn’t even have a date, who knows if he actually wanted to go?
