Only long sight changes after 40, so it won’t change the laser surgery (unless it deteriorates for another reason). The majority of people over 40 need vision correction for reading and because we stare at computer screens so much! Also bear in mind if your cornea’s are very thick and there is minimal scarring, there is potential that you could have laser surgery again after 10 years. I wasn’t so lucky!I've seen a lot of comments about sight reducing after 10 years which I guess would happen naturally anyway, if I do go for it I will be 47 so does that mean my sight would be good for at least 10 years which I would be happy with or would it reduce quicker because of my age?
