She'll be keeping him partly to further alienate Matt. As soon as she meets someone new Brendan will dumped for good.
Side note - I've been following him since he reactivated his account and so many of his stories are such teenage boy juvenile jokes. Plenty of gay innuendo that is not funny. At all. Kylie must have really manipulated him into being someone completely different. His post's are so far removed from the super smart and eloquent image she tries to portray.

Yes she is starting to look like an anorexic girl who used to run around my neighbourhood. She’d run for hours. You’d see her on your way to a morning shift and she would still be running when you came home after lunch. Skin and bones.
The way she sits in the car - she makes herself as small as possible and hunches forward so her bones stick out more.
