Good for him for acknowledging that he’s burnt out and needs a break. He’s shown that he has nearly no tolerance for stress, no emotional resiliency, and has no real frame of reference for what actual work looks like.
He’s only ever experienced working part time low stress jobs. Of course his barometer for hard work and true “blood, sweat, and tears” is completely skewed. That’s why he does genuinely feel burnt out, because the level of “effort” he puts into YouTube is truly all he is capable of.
And on the other hand he’s shown nearly no empathy for his inner circle and their stress levels. He pressures Casey and his mom to do his work for him and perform for him on top of their full time jobs. Could you imagine the tantrums he throws when they push back, even a little bit? When he was just home he was crying crocodile tears because his parents weren’t coming down to FL to perform for him. Those tears were for him and his lost revenue, not for his dad.
