I worked on a Kibbutz in the 90s...was the most amazing experience. Still think it was probably the best experience of my life. Changed me from a kid into an adult.

Is it only Jewish people who attend them or is it like open to everyone? Are they only in Israel? I read about them years ago but can't remember most of the details

Hello!!

No, open for everyone..they arent as common these days for young people to volunteer on now sadly. I went in 1998. Would love to hear from others. Yes only in Israel. Like self sufficient housing and families dotted around the country.
