I think if your job is high profile laying into people you better be beyond reproach yourself. Would love to see her being interrogated about this as she has done to others. Not that I disagreed with anyone tearing into Cummings but if you’re going to dish it out you need to be able to take it!

I detest Burley, and I hope she receives the same kind of bile she was quick enough to throw at the like of Dominic Cummings for breaking Covid rules.

As for the others - no, don't fire them. Give them warnings. The public shaming will be bad enough

She's hideous and always has been. I have long wondered about her apparent "untouchable" status. There are several incidents I feel she crossed a line and should have been sacked, suspended or at least warned.

I'll never forget when she told a volunteer searching for April Jones that she was expected to be found dead. Nothing had been said to the family or the volunteers, but she opened her big gob! I can't stand her, I'm disappointed she's not been sacked!

Well I have to say that despite the doom and gloom the pandemic has brought to the world over the last 12 months, this incident is definitely a positive highlight! It couldn't have happened to a more vile person

I don't like the woman, but I'm confused about what the rule break was? Was the dinner breaking the restrictions, or is she actually getting taken off air for popping into a restaurant to use the loo?

She met for dinner inside with people outside her household (rule break number 1)

She then went into another restaurant after the 11pm curfew (rule break number 2)

She then had 4 other people back to hers after to continue the celebrations (rule break number 3)

On top of that the photos show no social distancing, some not wearing masks, and actually hugging each other!

All from someone who berates others as part of her job for COVID rule breaking, so a, it’s hypocritical and b, she should know better as she clearly has an in depth understanding of the rules.

Kay Burley first came to my attention when she told relatives of the then missing April Jones the news there was evidence she’d been killed live on air. Horrific woman.

She was positively gleeful while reporting on the morning of Grenfell.

I try not to watch sky much anyway but I’ll absolutely turn over when she comes on screen.

There's literally nothing to say on the Nicola bulley case. But as soon as a body was found Kay rushed down there to anchor the news from there. Still anchoring it right outside the local church and over the road from the children's school.

I know it's sky news fault as well, but I bet Kay was gagging to get over there the moment there was a grave development.

I wouldn't be suprised if he takes the fall for it.

I suspect Kay and the team behind everything she does encouraged him. They've been crossing the line of what's acceptable for a very long time and treat the news as if it's a reality TV show where everyone is a contestant.

Last week she was getting the camera to zoom in when she thought people digging in the rubble found a body.
