My only thought is that it's the whole mukbang thing and they get dms/ comments/engagement how people love it so they do it for a secret audience.

Or they think they are on some cookery show and just copying them to appear what they see as more knowledgeable/professional

Or they're just rude

I think it’s just how Catherine is. She always comes across as really goofy and ditzy. Remember when she didnt close her orange juice bottle properly and it ruined her hat? Or when she dropped and broke her expensive camera? LOL.

9/10 times these Q&As are so the influencer can address things they’ve read about themselves I mean, I might be alone in this, but who would go out if their way to send a message to a creator asking questions about their motivations and future when you have a million things of your own to worry about? Never mind a-lot of people.

Anyway big chunky Q&As about me, me, me. Another narcissistic pursuit of a typical “internet personality”.

Not to toot my own horn but I said ages ago her stuff looks like generic H&M kids section because it does!

The big chunky Q&A - forces Mike on camera to talk about his (let’s face it, pipedream) prospect of being a full time YouTuber and squealing in the background how exciting it is, in the hope he will pick up the baton and absolve her of putting him in financial crisis.

The rest of the video she’s talking like she’s some megastar, attending book signings and working with wholesalers to shift her products.

Watch out, the ego has landed.

Don’t get me wrong, I do think this is a good decision in terms of
1. She had way to much stock in her studios
2. x2 studios = that’s a lot of outgoings. Not sure that was a good financial decision in her part getting the 2nd one…and then buying all that stuff to fill it with?…anyway.
However, what’s strange is up until the announcement she was ploughing ahead with all that debacle of “Ronnie the Roland” and producing their own decals and trying to revamp the bunny design (that had previously failed to take off) and creating more tat with his face on only to suddenly ‘pull the plug’ on your whole business and “pivot” especially without telling your employee so they have chance to find work elsewhere.
I’m not buying her act anymore, she can try and convince herself all she likes in her Q&A video.
Wouldn’t be surprised if her & Dean are up to their eyeballs in debt … then again why plan to go on holiday for 6 weeks? Doesn’t seem like he tells her “no” ever.
The way their house is decorated pink everywhere makes me think she’s completely emasculated him.
She lives in cloud cuckoo land wanting to travel 12 weeks of the year = who’s going to package your merchandise just the way you like it Catherine?

She thinks she’s fucking Richard Branson. She has no idea how hard publishing is. I’d be interested to know what the profit had been on her 200k turnover. I suspect not a great deal with three wages, stock, studios etc. she thinks she’s now going to support both of them with books, selling courses on how to run a business and drop shipping shit tee shirts. She doesn’t have a strong brand or product. She wants to be “a artist” (suggest a course of spelling and grammar before your great launch into writing books dear). Her ego has taken over. She is in for a huge shock. She’s not talking about her business plan and how she will make enough money she’s talking about a lovely home studio with matching his and hers desks. Flogging Patreon yawn. Has she trademarked her bumble buttcrack etc? Again comparing herself to Beatrix Potter

Why does she think she's going to be doing book signing for children's books? I would get it if she was doing books for pre-teens and became a renowned author like Jacqueline Wilson, but she's doing books for toddlers who surely wont give a shit? (I don't have kids so I wouldn't know ha)

She is so full of shit. It would be much more genuine of her if she just admitted what’s going on here. She started using social media to advertise her business, but she’s got to the point where it’s now flipped and her main revenue stream is the vlogs and travel stuff with the old business now becoming a hindrance. She’ll keep some of the characters going to keep engagement with the old audience but it will be in the most hands-off way possible. Then her and misery guts can grift their way around on holiday pretending they’re in some sort of creative journey.
No surprise that Mike and his wife have another three channels between them because when you see someone reaping rewards by being a self obsessed narc then you’re going to try and get a piece of the pie.
It’s so completely obvious and 35 minutes of twaddle from her will never convince me otherwise.
