I said this in the aus influencers thread before this one was made but seriously, her put downs of Hadley are too much and I would never have noticed had it not been pointed out here. In her recent stories about their flight she’s put her down about food AGAIN, even writing ‘LOL’ next to her because she’s doing a pose/being a normal kid. Give her a break, let her be. It breaks my heart. If Jules is willing to put those comments online you can only imagine what she must say to Hadley and how she treats her.

What I don’t understand is why on earth they flew to London via San Francisco. That would have made the journey so unbelievably looooong. Why not do it through Asia or the Middle East. This really makes no sense to me at all. Like, I’ve flown a few times to the UK, and not once have I ever thought of booking my trip through the US. Were the flights super cheap? Did they only have points with United or Lufthansa? Which are also a bit random to fly with, but whatever… anyway, it has bugged me from the start when I thought they were going that way, but I thought surely not with three young kids. But here we are. Sometimes I think she does things the hard way just to create anxiety.

Absolutely, she is setting those girls up for a lifetime of issues I have so much sadness for Hadley in particular.

is it really necessary to add the middle part in about them doing her head in. Just say they behaved and leave it at that

Can’t wait until they’re teenagers and they tell her where to go. I’m sure they won’t be thrilled at being used for content forever. Face it Jules without kids you have zero content. It’s the worlds most tone deaf boring ass video journal.

Arrgggghhhh she makes me so angry, can she just stop obsessing about food and about Hadley eating. Poor thing.

I really like Jukes, she makes me chuckle. I think she’s got a pretty dry sense of humour, but I really think she’s got some serious anxiety going on. To have 3 young kids and maintain that level of control of their diet, their house remains spotless, it’s a lot and must be so mentally exhausting for her. I also sense a shift since Cedar but I suspect she has been struggling with her mental health. The week after Cedar’s birth seemed particularly harrowing but to her credit she didn’t go into detail for engagement purposes.

I’ve been that way to Europe and it’s really not as bad as you’d think. San Fran also is not as big as some of the other airports so can be quite easy to manage the layover

Yeah, I agree. I don’t think it’s that crazy and San Fran is not a bad airport. Also, if you’re flying business class, the flight from Sydney to SF is easy. I’ve done it business class with a baby (hubby was seconded overseas so our travel was business class through the company).

I just think a 13 hour flight, 1.5 layover and a 6 hour flight is better than a 13 hour, 5 layover and another 10 hour flight with kids. My husband and I love a good airport lounge, but kids definitely take the shine off that drawn out experience.

Those business flights must have been insanely expensive!! Well over $100,000 return trip. We fly out to Europe in cattle class next month and our return flights alone for 2 adults and 3 kids under 6 are $20,000. Husband must be raking in the pennies $$$ soooo relatable!

They probably paid a portion with frequent flyer points if not all. If you run your own business it’s easy to accumulate heaps of points by paying bills with affiliated credit cards etc

Agree on the flights, we have thousands of points and could fly first class over to Europe and back for minimal cost. Hubby flies a lot for work, and is clever with earning more points and status credits so we get lots of travel perks, and I assume her husband is the same. I think that’s why they flew that longer leg with kids. Only certain routes are available to use points for.
They’re not even in London, once in a lifetime opportunity seeing a platinum jubilee, I can’t believe they didn’t spend the long weekend up there with all the buzz. We were there for the diamond jubilee and the feel in London was amazing.
