it'd be cute if you wrote what/who that song reminds you of and how it makes you feelThank you! I used to do Song of the day on my Instagram, but I don't think anyone was that interested, so I stopped in June.
So I think my notebook will be songs I've discovered, and/or a song I've listened to a lot on that day.
Oh that's a good idea! I'll do that. I also want to journal more next year. Any tips?it'd be cute if you wrote what/who that song reminds you of and how it makes you feel
I like the sentiment but that article is a bit pretentious. "Inner landscape"????If anyone is interested this lady is running a free course. I’m hoping it might just kick start my journalling - with a bit of luck. I think it will be shown 17:00 our time and there will be replays.
This is her site so you can read about it and sign up and I’ll also add the YouTube video

Yep this!Eh, sounding overly dramatic is fine in a journal.
It's a book that helps with creativity. Daily (ideally in the mornings) you write out 3 pages (A4 size I think?) it could be anything and everything just get it all out.I haven’t. And I know I can google, but let’s have a conversation. Can you tell us more about it?
The prompts and concept sound interesting. Hopefully someone here can give first hand feedback. It's a book that helps with creativity. Daily (ideally in the mornings) you write out 3 pages (A4 size I think?) it could be anything and everything just get it all out.
Also the author suggests taking yourself out for weekly dates which is something I'm keen to try.
I've possibly not explained it very well and hopefully someone who has read it and done the exercises can!
This has happened to me in the past. You can try writing about your writing and wondering why you’re gravitating back to the topic, and why you’re feeling the emotions you’re feeling. Write about the fact that you’re getting worried and brainstorm reasons why this may be and what you can and can’t do about it. If it’s too painful, you can try stepping away from that and writing about something else entirely. Like follow a week’s or more worth of prompts. So you are still writing and expressing but intentionally away from that issue. If it is all too painful, take a break. Many diarists take breaks when things in life become too much. Most come back because writing is how they cope.I've started writing again but I've found I keep writing about the same thing all the time...
I'm getting a bit worried!
Anyone else find this?
I suppose if something makes you feel strong emotions you keep writing about it, but the emotions are not good

I am sorry you’re experiencing negative emotions. I wouldn’t worry about that, per se, it’s ok to feel those things. I hope you can write your way through it
