Probably kicked off to get it tbh this is going to be content for them for a while
Whos having their lads while they are at the hospital it’s a lot to impose on someone who’s not family and as someone said above what about the cats ? That house will be stinking more than it did before if that’s possible

These two have really confused me. When Jo was pregnant and at hospital, Marsh was by her side every second of the day and left the kids with the neighbour they barely know properly. When in fact half the time he was at hospital, especially overnight he could have and should have been at home with the kids. Fast forward to now baby has arrived, thankfully seems to be doing better and Marsh is back home with the boys as he should be. However Jo keeps coming home for overnights. Jo has now stated she's going to come home for the weekend and go back to hospital Monday. How is she able to just leave the baby in hospital all weekend? Especially when it's crucial bonding time that and he's doing much better now so she's able to change him, change his clothes and try and breastfeed him. Her latest video she talks about getting him on a regular feed every 3 hrs etc. But how is she expecting to breastfeed if she's not at hospital trying to encourage him a little every day? How can you leave your newborn baby in hospital over the weekend to spend the whole weekend with your other kids? When you have seen them a bunch since giving birth? Does anyone else think Jo may have some issues being away from Marsh? I find it all very bizarre

From what I've seen about NICU babies is that the hospital doesn't want you there all the time . She should be going everyday if she wants to breastfeed. I think marsh is very controlling so he could be telling her to go home . Not sure if they have a social worker as school said they were gunna ring them .

Hasnt baby moved from NICU to SCBU? I'm pretty sure parents have 24/7 access to their babies so if they want to be on the ward for long periods they can be. She also has a room to stay in overnight etc so she's definitely able to be there if she wants to be. And tbh no reason not to be when Marsh is at home.

When you withdraw children from school to home educate and social services are called, they usually just ring you for a quick phone call as education isn't their remit. If school had legit concerns then they would have been expected to voice them previous to them withdrawing the kids.

I agree about him being controlling.

Those boys should be in school and nursery that way they can focus on the baby in hospital . If carter went nursery like 3 days a week they would have more time together .

I get that they want family time but leaving a premature baby without it's mother or father all weekend doesn't sit right with me. Yea the hospital may say it's fine to go home but just leaving the midwives to do everything for the baby is awful. My best friend has just went through the same situation and her husband who actually works took the time of so he could be at home with their other 3 children whilst she spent her time at the hospital caring for their daughter. There is no way I would leave my newly born baby In a hospital about an hour away for the midwives to look after for 3 days. As a parent it is our responsibility to look after our children and nuture them. Nothing lasts forever so it's not like they can't make sacrifices just for a short time whilst they wait on baby to come home. One parent being with the kids is better than none. They were virtually abandoned whilst marsh stayed with her the whole time in hospital. Strange controlling behaviour

My child is 6 and spends numerous amount of time in hospital, I don't leave her from the minute we get in until the minute we go even thou nurses are there to help

The ward where her baby is only has 6 parent rooms and can take up to 18 babies so parents are asked to leave and swap rooms a lot. It's very much like musical rooms when it's busy. She was probably asked to give up her room for the weekend by the ward staff. It's very normal on nicu for parents to be away from the baby and spend time with their other kids. Some parents can only visit once per day while others can spend hours there. You can't stay next to the cot 24/7 on that particular ward because there is no room for parents to sleep in the nurseries.

They clearly can cope they are so strange with a very peculiar family set up

Why are the whole family always in pyjamas or stained tracksuits?? such an odd outfit choice to wear to a restaurant. Jo has alluded to Marsh having at least a couple of job interviews over the last year...has he been wearing a tracksuit to those too 🙄
