Jeffrey Epstein

I'm thinking the same, wondering if people are not aware of this, or the extent of how bad it is. I expected there to be way more posts about the files that just came out. I've found on other sites, particularly Twitter, that it's unavoidable.

I feel for the victims of this evil man and the many others he surrounds himself with. I feel sick about it, it's all so depraved.
Reddit is quite good for discussions about the case and less OTT than X

Exactly, there seems to have been several photos and art pieces of underage girls all over his properties.

I am surprised that this thread doesn’t have much traction here. Some crimes or people have 100 odd threads but this is very quiet. Not in a conspiracy theory way, just in a huh I thought more people would be posting
what’s the subreddit I had a look yesterday and couldn’t see anything
I've wondered if it's because this site is pretty uk centric. Goss about yanks doesn't really fly here much. I've been catching up on the r/epstein on reddit which is the other end of the scale.

Someone on X said this should be the scandal to end all scandals. In the past it would have brought down governments and royal families. Why are people so blasé now?

Is it because it’s taken so long to be released? Too much redacted info? Are we just numb to this stuff now?

I’ve been trying to keep up but it’s so difficult to sort out the facts from the conspiracy theories.

I think there are several reasons. He went to prison in 2008 for only 13 months for procuring a minor for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute because he secured a cushy plea deal and was imprisoned again in 2019 whilst awaiting trial before he died. So this has been in the public consciousness for 18 years already. And he’s been dead for six years in which the powers that be (whoever they are) have been drip feeding information with a lot of it fragmented due to NDAs, redactions, sealed testimonies and unfortunately dead witnesses. It’s hard for the average person with everything going on in their life to stay engaged with a scandal that’s been ongoing for 18 years where a lot of the evidence is foggy and the people involved haven’t faced real consequences. I mean we know nothing is going to come from this, the people in power are always getting away with the most egregious things so it’s almost as if the general public expects impunity.

None of them ever get punished that’s the most infuriating thing and these children will never get justice

Social media is now full of AI nonsense on the case. We want to know the facts, which is difficult enough with so many documents and redacted items. Now mixed in with genuine information - we have AI images of Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump, snuggled up on sofas together in their underwear.

Everything that is wrong with social media and AI. I can understand people getting frustrated with it all and switching off.

I am now fully reliant on news organisations to sift through it all, and be drip fed information, but I totally understand why so many are frustrated and distrustful of this process.

Don't forget that it's not just Starmer that gave him the ambassador job when he would have known he shouldn't.

This runs deeper. Mandelson has been a permanent fixture in the core of the Labour Party for decades. Our current government is made up of people who were inspired by and looked up to him. Here's a young Wesley. It's very worrying how much influence Mandelson had.

I also don’t understand the content of most of the released files. Heavily redacted photographs that have no context. A huge amount of documentation that has no context. All mixed in with some genuinely concerning information.
The lack of context in much of the information - leaves it all wide open for speculation and conspiracy theories, which then throws shade on the genuine items of concern.

The Bill Gates asking for antibiotics story is now all over the internet. When you look at the actual documentation, there is no email from Gates asking for this, but an email compiled by Epstein, found in drafts (that was never sent) saying “you asked me for antibiotics”. It looks like he was setting him up for blackmail, which Epstein was clearly doing to many people.
If Gates has had sex with trafficked women, we would like to see him prosecuted - and perhaps any documentation could be released to the public as part of his trial.
Instead of this, we just have masses of confusing files.

The still of Andrew, is obviously from video footage (the video footage would explain what the hell has gone on). The still itself, is a confusing image that lacks context, so we now have people saying “is he doing CPR”?
My guess is a very young woman or teenage girl has passed out - maybe due to intoxication or being drugged. Do I know this though? No, but we would like to know what went on - as it looks concerning.

Why can’t the FBI use these files to investigate individuals, and then they become public during prosecution?

It's a technique, all this info, too much to handle. I saw Bannon say it somewhere, 'flood them with chaos.'

He only slept in prison. He was free to go to work everyday.

headline of the dm

Jeffrey Epstein victim 'had baby fathered by the paedophile snatched away ten minutes after birth': Billionaire 'had multiple secret children and hoped to create "superior" gene pool'.

https://www.archive.is/https://www....children-hoped-create-superior-gene-pool.html

I thinks Virginia had this happen. That poor girl. Where are the children? I was under the impression she thought her baby had died when Ghislaine took it away. How many more are there? There are emails where Epstein was trying to work out the best type of human to breed for sex. I found a link last night of his amazon shopping list, many toothbrushes, men pants, heavy reading books sometimes 2/or 3 the same and sweets/cake/children's toys.

As someone else said..... it just feels like nothing is ever done. Ghislane is in prison.......where are all the other perpetrators?

Why are Epstein's emails being shared with us.....if there was enough proof of wrongdoing, why aren't there more charges?

I don't mind the emails being shared, it helps us understand how scummy some people are, who previously denied any involvement with Epstein. But where's the big stuff that has been hushed up, NDAs signed....etc

I've just seen this attachment about "remember the victims". It's OK saying that, but it just feels like a standard response nowadays.

Victims don't want to just be acknowledged, they want action taken......

But as usual, there isn't action. People/victims strive to be heard, but then nothing comes of it. An inquiry is done, but no further action. People get paid off, people disappear from high up jobs, but no proper justice is ever seemingly done.

It just feels like money and power win every time.....

Mandelson has now been booted out of the House of Lords - highly irregular, apparently.
What next for him? Misconduct in public office? Custodial sentence?

I read yesterday that the Prime Minister was unable to remove him from the House of Lords... but it gave me the impression he wanted him removed....

The latest report I've seen said Mandelson resigned rather than was booted, but my knowledge in this area isn't great.

From a quick Google, it says that he can resign from HoL but will keep his peerage? I don't know what benefits this means he can still get....

How he can deny knowledge of his partner receiving cash directly each month from Epstein is shocking.....

He will be one of many though, and focus will now be on him, when there's probably lots of these vile individuals out there..... it makes me very sad.....but nothing surprises me anymore 😐 😒

ETA
Just adding some documents from BBC news adding more detail and stating that Downing Street are acting to get the peerage removed from Mandelson

Latest says he has “agreed” to step down - but they had been trying to draft a new law earlier today to remove him, as they expected him to cling on.
