I was massively sympathetic to the family because I don't care what anyone said about Jay and what he got up to in the past, he was their boy and this was so sad but why do they need more money? I do not get this. They have had their funeral extravaganza (each to their own) and everyone is back home. I cannot understand why this is still open. Jay wasn't the breadwinner of the family with six kids now starving cos Dads not at work.

His death is their cash cow for now. Thing is, they would be used to having this kind of money dribbling into their accounts so what are they going to do when it inevitably stops and Jay is forgotten about, and people move on to the next hype?

They’ll be hoping for a book deal. Not much of a story though, boy goes on holiday, gets wasted, goes back to a house. Wants back to his hotel, tries to walk back, gets bitten by cactus, gets lost, falls. Lunatics on Facebook post ridiculous theories and fly out to search. Ma flies out courtesy of GoFundMe. Body found. The end

Well you've ruined it for us now!😂😂
I was eager to read the chapters on Debbie's nail colour dilemma and Warren's regret at only packing Adidas sliders.
Rumours are there is a few new true crime from the publisher
The Disappearance of Hodgy
Rachel and the filter app
Brad, Lucy Mae and the butchering of the English Language

Poor old Jay is a sub story compared to the absolute shitshow of the rest of it!

I’ve never commented on Tattle, but after seeing the GoFundMe still open, it made me sick. I recently and unexpectedly lost my mum in a traumatic way. She now leaves behind her 14-year-old daughter (my sister), all alone. Money will never bring a loved one back, and I would never suggest that it could. However, receiving £72k and still keeping the fundraiser open is pure greed. As well as being paid for interviews too.

There’s only me, my younger sister, and another sister, and we're now scrambling to find roughly £3k, not even considering the future of our 14-year-old sister. It genuinely makes me sick. She gave him a nice big funeral, which was most likely free. Even if it wasn’t, it wouldn’t have touched the £70k. If only those of us who have lost a loved one could receive a portion of that—it would be life-changing.

I’m sorry for the rant. I am truly sorry for her loss it’s one of the most indescribable pains ever. But if I were in her position, I would donate to those who don’t have much for their loved ones' funerals and to some nice charities. We plan to do that even with borderline nothing.

I am so sorry for your loss❤ I hope that being together with your sisters offers you some comfort. As others on here have said, please do take time to look after yourself, there are many bereavement services and organisations that offer help, specialised in helping after the loss of a parent, I hope they can be beneficial.
