Ok so it's a better fabric than the satin trash but I'm not a huge fan.
And the bloody floppy hat is clearly pissing her off.
And m there Friday and I'm also wearing polka dots. Not HC bespoke though
I work in Cheltenham and there is a lot of HC clothing around especially when there's a race festival on. Her shop on the Dunkerton's site is gorgeously done, and I do love all the home scents/candles but the clothing is very over-priced. Having said that I've got a gilet that I live in, and appears to be wearing/washing well.
I just find all the set up shots really cringy, she has a high opinion of herself! Although she does wear clothes well, she knows what suits her and it’s always well tailored.
The high opinion of herself, huge ego and marrying a rich rich man in the rag trade has been her success.
Plus being rail thin means you can wear anything and it looks good. There is a HC outlet in Bicester Village which had some of the wool coats at better prices but I slunk out the door a bit quick when I realised how tiny even the XL sizes were
I have some older HC stuff - a waterproof coat in particular that I have abused! Still looks great, still waterproof. Not slathered in logos.
Maybe it's like everything, outsource the manufacturing when they grow and the standard lowers
