She really did have Icarus Syndrome didn't she? It's like something broke in her psyche when DKL failed and LJC LEFT. Up until that point she was irritating, attention seeking and disingenuous but one could argue she was basically treading a fairly mainstream path as a D-List sleb with an exaggerated backstory. I think DKL and LJC screwing up meant she'd kissed goodbye to her last realistic chance of proper mainstream success and the cushy lifestyle she believed she deserved. And that was the point that she really went OFF, with the grifting, pleading, begging and horrific weaponisation of terrible conditions and experiences.

I do feel for her in a way, I know what it's like to feel confident your life is heading in a certain direction and all of a sudden the rug is pulled out from under you and everything - personal, emotional, financial, family, health - is thrown up in the air. I'm sure other Fraus have experienced this. It's horrible, like a pit has opened under your feet, and you basically have to take months or years to almost....reconfigure yourself as a person, put you and your life back together. And what you end up with may be different or even 'not as good' as what you had before but you can still be happy, sometimes even happier in fact.

What I'm saying is, most of us manage to navigate serious life crises without going ape on the grifting, larping, bullying and lying on social media and scooping other people's money into your designer togs fund.

The first big rob (and the one that I think really emboldened her) was the Kickstarter in Dec 2015-Jan 2016, a couple of months after Leggy LEFT her back to Southend. She was flying high on all the attention from her honorary degree and coming out as nonbinary.

She raised almost £69,000 and ignored all questions about where that book was for over two years. We’ve seen how shit those books are. There is no way in the world she didn’t make tens of thousands in profit into her pocket from that little grift. That taught her she could get away with it and massively emboldened her.

Then there’s her Patreon beg in April 2017 cos she couldn’t pay her rent (when her and LJC were getting together), and some MASSIVE grifts when she was with LJC, including the I BEG OF YOU BUY MY FAVOURITE AND BEST WORLDLY GOODS, FOR MY AGENT HAS STOLEN FIFTY THOUSAND POUNDS AND I HAVE POVERY TRAUMA!!! beg of May 2018, the “send your money to my personal PayPal so that I may buy my own books to donate to food banks” and the various “my bank account’s been hacked” bullshits etc etc.

Then after LJC LEFT, the evil burglars came to persecute poor help me I don’t have contents insurance because of poverteeeeee trauma! Jack over and over.

Last year three of her four big beggy blog posts, plus the broken website begs, plus Teemill, plus Sue Lee were when she was with minted Old Harold because he didn’t LEFT til June.

Then she rattled the tin again in a massive panic in July with Hunger Hurts when you’re Solar Lit because it turned out that due to her truly insufferable personality, despite all the hints about being PRACTICALLY ENGAGED he ran for the hills before she could get him to knock her up/marry her/buy her a big ol house.

The ONLY time she didn’t grift was when she was with Leggy. Fuck, she was soliciting PayPal “donations” from people who couldn’t come to her stupid-ass “I AM SELLING MY WORDLY GOODS” sale in 2012 and advertising her freaking faux craft “Foundation” in her newspaper column as being “all profits go to charity” with all that money going into her personal PayPal too. Back when he was very young, the best part of ten years ago, people were sending her money to buy her little boy shoes FFS!

She’s not “well intentioned but chaotic” and never has been. She’s a foul grifting fraudster who’s coined in hundreds of thousands of pounds in the past 10+ years,” since 2012, all of it based on lies (some of them truly, truly horrific) and manipulation.

Her interview was shit and the honk is still in evidence. Awful anecdote about how rich people eat nice food and "council estate" people only buy beer and nappies because that's what Tesco stocks in the stores. Also LOL at vague reference to academic studies and instead of mentioning the authors says the publications "made a link" between obesity and poverty. Cringe at her talking about poverty in the developing world, with what evidence? Her decade ago white saviour tour? Odd she didn't do a "I'll be on @timesradio in 10 minutes" tweet for her fans.

I have intel. The Tesco Express near the estate is in a petrol station forecourt. Of course it doesn't have the full range. It isn't optimised around the estate people but around the things people tend to buy in petrol stations.

ETA: As @Cucumberthunder notes, the real issue is that poorer people tend to be in food deserts, for example where the only place to get food is a petrol station. Guest doesn't understand any of this and is not an expert on the subject at all.
