She'll be smartened up with the generous clothes allowance..BT here she comes...
It was OK. Was up at 4 in case I overslept. New embossers were alright.
Some of the polling booths were in a shocking state.
The usual trouble makers were quiet enough.
Usual suspects in the door at 9.58pm.....
I do enjoy the day, its a bit like a funeral, you do miss people turning up....
We live in a rural area- it’s a long day for the 2 ladies based in the polling station , all day waiting for a couple of hundred people to turn up ( or not) I didn’t get home in time to vote - ( or spoil) - were you suspicious of the amount of time people spent in the booths? were some obviously spoiling? there were some Michelangelo type efforts shown on X - even took their own pencil cases
Some people were obviously writing essays....but its up to them. Im pretty sure any ballot paper that has more than the 1,2,3 on it will be straight in the recycling. Its spoit.
