Maybe it’s because I lived there so long I’m used to it but I still find Dublin so safe, the problem is people going to the “wrong” parts because it’s cheaper. That’s where you’re going to bit with crime. It’s like visiting London and going staying in brixton or Hackney (pre gentrification) . Dublins smaller so people book hotels around the inner city north side without doing research and wonder why they have trouble.

those articles were mainly around the time of the anti immigration protests weren’t they? Whereas the protests saw in England after Southport attacks were worse and on a larger scale.

I saw something about Michael McDowell maybe leading an independent alliance? Shinners are just the same as the leading parties there’s no opposition, they’re not a nationalist party any longer.
