I really like my hair when it’s curled but it just falls out within an hour. I have tried the usual tricks of waiting a few days after washing and hair spray but still just falls out

any other tips?

Pin it in the shape of the curl afterwards and wait until it's stone cold before taking it out.

Pin the curl up afterwards or try the robe tie hack that’s the only way my curls ever stay in

Ive only managed to keep a curl in after using lots of mousse, pinning the curls afterwards (as also said above!) and a lot of hairspray. Also if your hair is shorter or layered/not as heavy it’s easier to keep them in.

Use a bit of dry shampoo on your hair before you start.

curl the section of hair, then hold in place and pin it to your head with a Kirby grip. Go around your whole head. Spray strong hold hairspray all over and then leave them all along for 5 minutes. Carefully take out the grips, let the curl naturally fall. Once all grips are out, tip your head upside down or back and use moose to gently scrunch the curls or if you are going for a more polished look, do each curl individually. let dry. Another good skoosh of hairspray all over. Let dry. then gently comb your hands through.

Mines naturally wavy but for more definition I plait my hair after washing and undo it when dry. For Curls you could do rollers? But the important thing is do it when the hair is wet /damp. My hair won't hold Curls or defined waves either without this method.
