I rarely get a takeaway, it always ends up being expensive and I think never worth it, the taste isn’t that great!

Then I feel sluggish and bloated for the whole next day 🤢

Once a week, sometimes more! It's what gets me through the working week 😅

I'm not exaggerating when I say this but my neighbour has a takeaway at least once a day, often twice 😳 she usually gets breakfast and then her evening meal - I'm not a stalker, my dog goes mad every time he sees any type of delivery man 😂

We used to at least once a week or maybe a fortnight!

But I really got into my cooking and eating healthier and I much prefer that. We've not had any this year (minus the hungover McDonald's on New Years Day) and I feel a lot better for it! Their so expensive really aren't they? 20 quid for 2 meals is ridiculous. I was finding towards the end of last year, after making so many proper nice at home meals i was feeling grim after a takeaway. I much prefer cooking

I got really bad with it. I was ordering McDonald’s etc every other day! It was making me feel like absolute shit and I had to actually delete my Uber eats app to stop it from getting out of control!

That sounds extremely suffocating to me! I’d hate it if my boyfriend was planning what I’d eat, fair enough if it’s only his dinner he’s planning but surely you should be allowed to eat what you fancy once in a while? Seems quite controlling and dare I say it, toxic. No judgement on your relationship but just sounds so suffocating!!
I totally get how it sounds - it's the only thing we ever argue about. I think it'll get easier once we're out of lockdown as it'll be easier to be a bit more spontaneous. I am involved in meal planning so do get a say but sometimes I'm like "yes I know I said I wanted sausage casserole today but you asked me 4 days ago and I've since changed my mind". I reckon he's got some issues with food tbh as he thinks he was really fat when he was younger. He wasn't, he was within normal BMI which also annoys me as I've struggled with my weight since puberty 👍

One at the weekend typically!

Maybe one during the week if I look in fridge and nothing inspires me or we are feeling lazy!

1 or 2 a month. Usually a pizza and an Indian takeaway. We used to get one weekly but since we’ve been saving up to buy a bigger house we’ve cut down.

Ehhh.. I try to limit it to the weekends but sometimes after working from 9am - 8pm, writing code all day and forgetting to eat.. I just get lazy and order dinner. Sometimes if I know I'll have meetings in the evening, I'll order lunch from deliveroo lmao.

If I do order during the week though, I do try and only order something 'healthy' like sushi or poké bowl. Saturday is always my pizza night haha.

Back when I was living with my friend, we'd probably get a takeaway once a week? I live with my boyfriend now and he is a bit of a health nut, wasn't allowed takeaways as a kid or anything. It's a real point of contention between us, which sounds so daft but I find him so controlling about food sometimes. He plans our meals for the week and then we have to stick to it. He doesn't understand that sometimes I just fancy a pizza or a chippy tea, just because! I can't exactly plan when I am in the mood to get takeaway. We have them maybe once a month at the moment. I don't think I would go back to having a takeaway every week, but I do find it really annoying that when I do fancy it, I get shut down with "but I am going to cook x for tea" when 99% of the time, it could wait until the next day!

Most weeks on a Friday or Saturday we get a Chinese takeaway. I do all the cooking so it's a nice break!

These days, we don't order at all. The only takeway we used to get was pizza but we completely stopped since we built an outdoors fire pizza oven.

I have coeliac disease so there’s not really many takeaways I can eat. I can only have Indian and Nando’s. Both we collect as neither deliver to us. So generally we might have a takeaway 3/4 times a year.

Pre- covid, very rarely but we would eat out once a week on average. Since lockdown in March, we have a takeaway about the same frequency, maybe 3x a month

Quite rare for a takeaway, last time it was Fish and Chips, my Brother went to the chippy himself, we don't have food delivered at my home because I will not allow it. Considering how those fuckers blatt around on their hair-dryers. not a chance in hell.
