I think I have 7.None fit due to pregnancy weight gain.Well one or two do but they’re impractical.

One. A thick waterproof Regatta for winter. I have several fleeces, and wraps, I prefer those to coats.

Black, extra long coat to keep warm
Navy knee length no fasten wraparound
White dog walking jacket (I must be mad)
Gorgeous grey jacket with hood had to buy in NZ when it started to rain
Loads of dressy up type jackets

I'm a shoes, bags and jackets girlie

Way too many. I love smart coats for work and different jackets for going out. The one that gets worn the most though for nipping to the shop/going for a walk is an ancient parka with paint splattered up the sleeve from college circa 2011 😂

In fact, I have very few clothes at all. I used to have more, but now I work remotely, and I'm quarantined, so I don't have anywhere to go. I have one coat and one jacket left, which is more than enough for me.

I have 2 coats that I wear regularly: a practical raincoat and a plain black puffer jacket.

Unfortunately I’m a massive hoarder and I just went and counted the coats I have in my coat wardrobe (I’m not even kidding) and it’s 15:oops: I know it’s such a waste of storage and I could donate them but I find it so hard to part with clothes especially expensive ones!

Too many! In my defense, I've had most of these since I was a teenager and do wear them all regularly.

2 coats for work (I work out in the countryside and spent a lot of time outdoors) - 1 lightweight black waterproof Peter Storm jacket that I can keep in my bag through the summer, and a fleece lined thicker burgundy waterproof from Hollister that I wear the rest of the year.
A long black trench coat from H&M
A camel duffel coat which was a gift
A brown teddy coat which was also a gift
A dark green WW1 style military coat from H&M.
A oversized leather jacket from New Look
A fringed fake leather jacket from Topshop
A fake suede shearling lined jacket from Zara
A Levi's denim jacket which was my mum's as a teenager in the 1970s.

I have three:

A Trespass thick waterproof hiking coat
A black 'posh' long coat
A lighter parker coat which I've had for about 12 years, and still going strong 🤣

Around 25. I have a coat for every occasion in every colour. My excuse being I’m not a handbag or shoes person, coats are definitely my weakness!

Off the top of my head...

1. Red trench coat from H&M, had it for years and love it.
2. Dark blue/navy trench coat, also H&M and love
3. Camel trench coat from ASOS. Way too big for me on the arms should get it taken in.
4. Brown pea coat
5. Black pea coat
6. This winter coat from Hollister in olive. It is SO warm.
7. A puffer coat from Gap, not stylish but good for -20 winter days.
8. A Barbour style jacket from Zara, should get rid of it as it looks quite worn now. Is prob 10 years old or so.
9. A very insulated jacket for winter sports.
10. A raincoat.

I have a few more that I never wear and should get rid of.

I have 2 winter coats a blue formal wool one I wear to work (not at the moment) and a green puffa. There is another coat I’ve been coveting on Bon prix but I’m waiting for my size to be back in stock, which might not happen. I also have a lighter summer jacket. I love random questions like this!

I have over 30 coats/jackets. They’ve been purchased and loved over a very long period of time. And I had much more at one point, 30 is workable for me.

I’m a very plain dresser and I only wear black, so my coats are like other people’s tops I suppose - the only variety I have. (When I say plain dresser I mean I’ve got multiples of one style black t shirt that I wear every day with either black jeans, black trousers, black leggings. And then black blazer or black cardigan if needed. fun(!))

I’ve got classic coats that are decades old. I have more “on trend” pieces, although trying to get out the habit - Covid has helped curbed coat spending! The only colour and pattern I have in my wardrobes comes from my coats.

I also have a job which requires a lot of travel and time outside/overseas alongside office work, so I’ve a wide range of smart coats, travel friendly coats, and weather appropriate stuff. I’m ready for all climates across the globe.

For someone with an office job I probably spend more time in my coat than others would expect, so it’s worth the investment for me.

I have a big dark green parka coat from next which I’ve had about 15yrs but it’s still like new... I wear it to wear usually or when the weather is really bad.
I have a navy Barbour coat that il wear when I’m going out out as it’s dressy but it’s far too warm.
a black bubble bomber jacket kind of thing which isn’t very thick that I just wear now and again.
a blue Mac for when it’s really pissing down.
a black leather jacket.
a blue denim jacket
And a black denim jacket which I basically live in when it’s not winter.
I really want one of those big brown fluffy coats but I’m so short I’d look like park butcher in it

About 40 if you include biker/denim/hiking jackets and lots of different styles (trench, parka, teddy, pea etc). I’ve donated loads of clothing to charity during lockdown and bought big storage boxes for the out of season coats because they take up so much space. Funny thing is I don’t even feel like I have enough for every outfit 🤷🏼‍♀️
