How many coats do you have?

I’ve heard of people wearing only or mostly black an I don’t think I’ve ever suited it maybe I link it to work or something I dno :-/ I don’t think I suit it maybe so don’t often buy it ... would make my life a lot easier

I’m very “particular” so despite having only the same clothes to choose from it still takes me ages!!!! Everything wears down differently so sometimes I can’t finish getting dressed until I find the exact t-shirt I want (I go by touch).

I don’t ever clash, although different shades of black becomes an issue when everything is black. Accidentally buying something navy is also a real issue.

Laundry is super easy! And I’m always ready for a funeral. And I can pack a suitcase in minutes, which is perfect as I travel(led?) a lot for work.

Sounds like I’m trying to convert you! I’m not. I know a world of all black would be dreary. I just find colour and pattern over stimulating sometimes and if I’m in all black I can at least focus on myself and not get too overwhelmed.

Mr Flogoff has so many coats it really annoys me. He’s a sucker for a coat.
I have;
Big duvet type one.
going out one.
another big puffer one that won’t do up over my thrupennies post last child.

That’s it. Maybe I need more coats in my life.

oh tell a lie. I’ve got a waterproof one with zip in fleece for dog walks.

I like a good coat and you need different ones for different occasions.

- dog walking parka
- water proof coat with zip in fleece
- North Face rain jacket
- black heavy coat
- black lightweight down jacket
- 4 fleece jackets (they are all different colours)
- denim jacket
- softshell jacket

That is all I can think of right now.

Raincoat, black long winter coat, old coat for messy dog walks/hikes/camping, dressy black overcoat, denim jacket. That’s it.

More than I could ever wear ... my husband is the same, he loves a nice coat.
We have a whole section of our dressing room just for coats, plus the ones hung in the cloakroom.
The best thing about winter for me is getting a new winter coat. I got a lovely grey wool one from Monsoon this winter. I’m very partial to a military style coat I must admit.
