I think it also has limited commercial success in the sense that I'd assume, unless you compete in it, it's not a fun or entertaining thing to watch
i think she did very well, she's been training seriously just for the last 6 months and still qualified as 44th at her age group in the world championships, that's a massive success!
plus she said she didn't feel too good due to her period, which affects even professional athletes at the olympics, for example

And Saskia also runs Hyrox doubles, partnered with another Holly - Holly Archer! Why aren't Angelo and Holly White competing together in mixed doubles (or whatever it is called)?
I bet the relationship is too tense to do so, she's always pandering to him when he does badly or whatever, them being in it together would be a mistake jmo
Holly White came in 129th overall, not 44th. 44th maybe in her age group but age group is irrelevant if she is chasing Elite 15.

I wonder if their progress is really what they would want after six months of not working.
They started with doubles and bombed it - fine if you assume that was Angelo's fault (given he is obviously the weaker of the two and probably has slim to no chance of making it). Angelo has bombed both of his individual attempts (again, fine if you assume Angelo has no chance of making it and that nothing depends on this). Holly bombed her latest, her first wasn't pro and it sounds like Warsaw was an easier course.
None of this would be an issue if they were doing it recreationally, but to be betting your future on this...I'm glad it's not me.

I would be very surprised if they make it (particularly Angelo) for three reasons:
- They have roughly 2k subscribers after 4 months. Given Holly already had an audience already, that's not great, and I see no idea what their USP is other than they "quit their jobs" (something that isn't exactly relatable).
- The content is unvaried and unoriginal. Perhaps it's just not for me, but I don't see how their videos stand out from any other creator in this domain.
- Angelo definitely isn't elite and never will be, and Holly's chances are probably slim. Although Holly did very well in the "easier races", this has shown that when the competition is harder, she is distinctly average in comparison to where she needs to be. Angelo can't even perform when they're doing the easier races. Given they're devoting their whole lives and energy to this and almost everyone else will be doing it recreationally, that's not a good sign.
Saskia, the A&E doctor, also won the Womens Doubles Pro, with her partner Holly Archer! (I think Holly Archer is a full time athlete but, at least, has results!)
There’s no reason why Holly White can’t work PT at tutoring or at something else PAID. Also Angelo.
Holly should still be receiving passive income from You Tube for views on all of her old videos (on her main channel).
100%. She had 440,000 subscribers so would have saved a lot from the income that generated and will still be earning passively now.
I refuse to buy any claims that they're broke because their lifestyles don't suggest that at all. They've managed to do this for almost half a year without either of them having jobs. It's disingenuous to claim they're struggling.
