Don't people usually stop off in Hong Kong or Singapore for Australia? I've not been myself but friends have. Both Orlando and Australia sound great. I've been to Barbados and I think kids would be bored apart from great beaches there's not much to do. Its also unbelievably expensive so if anyone goes there you need to be going all inclusive otherwise you wont be able to afford to eat. I kid you not, there's one price for locals and another for tourists.Thankyou for your replies! I love the idea of Australia - if it was just me and my partner that would be my first choice, I just worry that the flight might be too long for the kids. Orlando is looking like a firm favourite though
Doing a stop off on the way there and on the way back would be a good way to help the flight times.Thankyou for your replies! Barbados is the most over rated place I’ve ever been. I just don’t see the fascination with it. Yes the beach’s are nice, but there are much better beaches around the world. It’s so expensive when you’re there and there’s really not a lot to do.Aw, well I hope wherever you decide you have a lovely time! How exciting for the kids. I personally would love to go somewhere like Barbados or St Lucia (not sure how fun that would be for children though)
Ah really? I had a look for next year and Barbados is mega expensive so it’s good to hear your opinion as I don’t actually know anyone who’s been I just thought it looked nice! I would love to do Jamaica or at Lucia!Barbados is the most over rated place I’ve ever been. I just don’t see the fascination with it. Jamaica has been by far our best holiday, and we’ve had a few.
There is as little or as much to do as you want.
Don’t be put off by the scaremongering that it isn’t safe. We weren’t concerned once. Yes, obviously you don’t want to be walking the streets in the dark, but I wouldn’t do that at home either.
