Hi guys,

Sorry if there is already another thread similar I couldn’t see any. I go away next month on holiday with Mr Strawberry abroad for the first time in 12+ years. Since the last time I was abroad I have had the mini strawbs so I’m feeling a bit self conscious about my weight and figure. I’m only 5.5 and currently seem to sway between a size 16-20 depending on what it is. Has anyone seen anything flattering for a bigger girl ? I’m not overly blessed in the boob department idk I seem to have forgotten how to dress that’s not a hoodie and leggings 🤣 I’m not sure if it’s relevant but our destination is minimum 35 degree heat for August ?

Basically please help me not look like mutton dressed as lamb I’m open to any suggestions particularly swimwear also !

Maybe we could end up helping each other and setting a Tattle Catwalk up 🤣

Loads of places now do plus size/curve ranges. ASOS, new look, Shien etc

I love a comfortable fit midi dress for warm holidays, wearing it with trainers for casual and then nice sandals for evening. Such an easy but cute look. Matalan always do nice reasonably priced ones, New Look as well.

I have a gorgeous swimsuit one piece from Next which has a tummy control panel. It gives a gorgeous silhouette and flatters the curves and supports the breasts in a nice way. Long flowing maxi dressers are also my best friend in the summer.
my best advice is dress in a way that looks good to you but is also comfortable and develop a “duck em” attitude, because life’s to short to give a duck about what anyone else thinks of how we dress or look.
I use to really admire stick thin women but g into the whole Hollywood and model thin equalling desirable.
I now really appreciate the curves Women have and the silhouette we can make.
another top tip is follow some curves similar sized stylish women on Instagram and watch them rock the clothes they wear looking amazing with confidence. It’s also attitude. own it ❤

here’s two accounts……l

A lot of dresses have shirred tops at the moment so they top is nice and stretchy and comfy.

Can't go wrong with a midi dress and sandals

Although there will be people wearing all sorts so just wear what you feel comfortable in
