High energy formula for babies

Does anyone have any experience of using high energy/high calorie formula with their babies? My little one has been prescribed it as his weight has dropped through 3 centiles since birth. He has already had his normal formula concentrated to provide more calories which hasn’t really made a difference.

Just keen to know if it actually works?

Hey, I have twins on a high calorie formula due to low birth weight. One baby has jumped 3 centiles in 6 weeks. What one have they put you on?

Hey I haven’t got any experience but mines dropped almost 2.
She’s on the 5th centile now. What’s caused your little ones drop if you don’t mind me asking?
This is probably going to be our next step if her feeding doesn’t start improving x

One twin is on Cow & Gate Nutriprem 2 & the other is on SMA High Energy as the C&G didn't agree with her. They both work the same & we've seem amazing results on them

Just issues with feeding from birth really - taking only 1-2oz at a time at the beginning, reflux/constant crying and screaming, and trialling different formulas to see what worked best. What has been the issue for your little one?
