I have my daith pierced and it didn't help, but I have heard the same ting and I hope it does for you!I have always had headaches, but recently they have got worse and I live with a constant brain fog and now migraines. I am looking to have my daith pierced, but by someone who does it for headaches only. Their reviews are amazing so I'm hopeful.
I got mine done for headaches, did they tell you its not 100% guaranteed? It doesn't always work, it didn't work for meI have always had headaches, but recently they have got worse and I live with a constant brain fog and now migraines. Did you have it done at a piercing shop?I got mine done for headaches, did they tell you its not 100% guaranteed? It doesn't always work, it didn't work for me
I still suffer headaches an migraines, but it's mostly now when am stressed or anxious, what stopped them all together wasn't the piercing but my diet, not saying it won't work for you but just a little warning that if it doesn't there's still a earing to take care off when it's done
It was a tattoo place but the guy I've known for years an he is trained an has all the qualifications an knowledge for piercings an advised me on how it all works an what side I should get it done on as the side you get it done can also affect if it works or not, he also knows where it should be done as its a piercing that goes through the pressure point I believe he told me an he also asked if I was fine getting the earing itself rather than what I was getting it for as he couldn't guarantee it was going to work, he said he had around a 60% range of how many had gotten it done an it worked for them, he had mentioned for those that it worked with they had told him they felt like their headache was like a balloon an as soon as it was done it was like someone popped the balloon so once I had it done he asked how I was an when I said I felt the same he mentioned then there was a change I was one of the ones it might not have worked forDid you have it done at a piercing shop?
This is all they do, they have three clinics and there is an hours assessment to determine the exact place to help. It is not cheap but I have been recommended so I'm going to take a look. I'm open to anything as no tablet works for me.
Yes I would say diet too as when I cut out sugar and started eating healthily my headaches stopped. Over xmas I've started eating chocolate etc again and my headaches are coming back, so I'm going to be good again!I don't think it's the weight itself they were meaning but more the diet, when I went onto a healthy eating diet an started clean eating to lose weight and then maintain it stopped the headaches as I was limiting the sugar I took, I don't think my weight mattered just what I was eating an drinking, I found when I ate more fruit an took in more water i would hardly get any, if I had a bad day where I just binged badly I'd have a killer of a headache
Mine have been shit!!My doctors have been really good since lockdown so don’t hesitate to contact yours.. That’s what they are there for
Mine too!!Mine have been shit!!
I don't think mine are entirely due to diet but they're definitely affected by it - I drink loads regardless of what I eat tbh but I'm def more likely to get a headache on a day I've been eating less healthily!I don't think it's the weight itself they were meaning but more the diet, when I went onto a healthy eating diet an started clean eating to lose weight and then maintain it stopped the headaches as I was limiting the sugar I took, I don't think my weight mattered just what I was eating an drinking, I found when I ate more fruit an took in more water i would hardly get any, if I had a bad day where I just binged badly I'd have a killer of a headache
I looked up the Osteopath and apparently they can help if the headaches are down to posture. This is interesting to me as I have awful posture. I have been told by a Physio before that I need to sort my posture out. A masseur I had asked me if I get a lot of headaches when she felt how tense my neck and shoulder muscles were!Mine too!!

I believe my biggest triggers were fizzy juice an chocolate, I could eat meals fine even take aways I'd have no problem with but if I took in a lot of fizzy juice or chocolate even if I ate great with every meal I found I'd trigger a headache, vinegar as well can do it weirdlyI don't think mine are entirely due to diet but they're definitely affected by it - I drink loads regardless of what I eat tbh but I'm def more likely to get a headache on a day I've been eating less healthily!
I have awful posture too and weirdly someone at work suggested to me that might be the cause, but I dismissed it thinking posture wouldn't have that big an effect. I wonder if I should give it a go. It definitely sounds like being more active and upright has helped you!I looked up the Osteopath and apparently they can help if the headaches are down to posture. So last year, I started walking a lot and it's really helped me. Over xmas, I didn't walk as much and spent longer propped up in bed scrolling and I noticed it affected me again and I had a few headaches.
Do you work at a desk? I have for years and I never sat correctly, I was always slouched or hunched over. I've got big boobs so I spent my life hunched over trying to hide them! I used to find it really hard to correct my posture and I also had terrible neck and shoulder pain but since walking over 10K a day everyday, the improvement has been vast! But also, I have dieted too and cut out a lot of crap and cut down on chocolate, sugar, dairy and wheat that I always thought made me sinusey and gave me headaches.I have awful posture too and weirdly someone at work suggested to me that might be the cause, but I dismissed it thinking posture wouldn't have that big an effect. Same here. Windy weather always sets me off on a bad one, although I do suffer at other times too. They can last for days.I get headaches when the weather is bad. I haven't found a solution for them yet, sometimes they are awful.
Yes I do! I find myself slumping sometimes and try to sit up straight but I just find it so uncomfortable that I'm soon back where I was.Do you work at a desk? I've never been a big coffee drinker. I have one or 2 a day and I don't like fizzy drinks so I only ever drink water and I'm always well hydrated, so I know my headaches weren't from that. I do think they were from my diet and my bad posture. Also, getting out in the fresh air upto 3 times a day has definitely helped.
Same! The Physio I saw told me I need to 'move' more or I would end up with arthritis!Yes I do! I find myself slumping sometimes and try to sit up straight but I just find it so uncomfortable that I'm soon back where I was.
Thanks for that tip. I haven’t tried cold water as a treatment. I sometimes find just having a shower helps lessen the pain for a while, so next time I’ll try reducing the temperature and see how it goes.Don’t know if anyone will find this helpful but last week I had a real foggy thick headache all down the back of my neck and my forehead. I had it for about 5 days in total and absolutely no tablets were helping. I would go to bed with it and wake up with it. I even booked a massage thinking it was muscular.
Then I read online somewhere about cold water helping. So I showered, washed my hair and rinsed the conditioner out with really cold water. Low and behold, headache was gone within an hour. And hasn’t come back.
fluke maybe, but thought I’d mention it!
Sounds like migraine.I get really severe headaches in my eyes it’s so painful feels like rocks for eyes usually just before I’m due onalways goes to my eyes not head
