I lost my Mum a couple of weeks ago and she too, was a staunch royalist but her views were very different with KC.. We used to watch Dan w and lady c and then speak on the phone about it!! She would have been heartbroken if this is true. I also just wanted to put it out there that, whatever your opinion - Lady C is one of the most gracious people I’ve ever met! I had tickets for her ball for tomorrow and can’t bear to go; notwithstanding the fact my gown is still on the tailors dummy in my mums sewing room - I contacted her team to explain and she offered me a full refund and her sympathies. I’ve asked her to gift the tickets on and when I mentioned table placement etc she said to not be concerned.

I miss Queen Elizabeth.

I was full of incredulity about this too . Why on earth wasn't this person (s) prosecuted by the CPS . I may be being fanciful here but l am wondering if it was anything to do with H&M they are just so evil and hate Catherine and William so much .

I doubt this was anything to do with the Stoats, for once, and it's dangerous to sometimes attribute stuff to them that we don't like as we miss other things.
The Palace spin machine is far more effective and deadly, and this story has been posted by them for a reason. This medical records story makes no sense at all. Maybe a thought trend they don't like that they're trying to hit on the head, that's my guess.

I was thinking canned tomatoes, but encased in thin plastic bags (similar to a water balloon) which would explode on impact but not harm anyone. To tell the truth, them staying at Althorp would be the best option IF they come. If they were to be put up in a royal residence then it would have to be cleared of anything valuable …… tales of both of them helping themselves to ‘trinkets’ (allegedly) while members of the RF have been told. At least at Althorp Uncle Charles could keep an eye on them all the time.

Meagain would love to stay there, like you say the photo opportunities would send her into meltdown …… a back view of the flatpacks looking down at granny Diana’s grave would bring in a fortune. And evenings spent bitching with Charles Spencer about how the RF treated her would be the Orca interview with knobs on!

Whether the person or persons lost their jobs and are now unemployable is irrelevant. The London Clinic and ICO both laughably claim that this "sad incident" has been appropriately dealt with, and there's insufficient evidence to support a prosecution. Of course they don't want a trial.

This report is different, and says they succeeded and tried to sell the information. So it's out there.

It only refers to 'deliberate misuse' of the information (which could be include attempting to access or succeeding) and an 'offer to disclose'.

It also says that 'the ICO issued a now former healthcare professional from London with a formal caution in relation to an offence under section 170(5) of the Data Protection Act 2018'.

The ICO has the same powers as the police and CPS here. A caution means that the person has admitted they have committed the crime and now has a criminal record. It will be disclosed on any checks needed for professional jobs.
It is only used for relatively minor crimes, so it is likely that the person was detected before they were successful. Another thing that makes this likely is that the issue was referred to the ICO by the London Clinic themselves - so they probably detected the attempt electronically.

There may be many reasons for the delay. One obvious one is that it is likely that there were professional misconduct proceedings happening in parallel.

I am sure after the investigation it was found that the said person was successful.
