Oh yeah. Hard agree. A close reading of Tom Bower makes it very clear that the whole "we've been bullied, we want privacy" thing was ALWAYS false. They just got their noses out of joint because they placed themselves in direct competition with the Waleses. Everything Harry and Meghan went on to say on Oprah and NF...if you read between the lines and run a comparison with Bower in your head, it's blindingly obvious that the Harkles wanted to go toe-to-toe against the Waleses. That's why they chose to set up a rival court in Montecito. They genuinely thought they could beat the Waleses and end up as THE Royal Couple.

And there's a lot of fucked up psychology behind it I bet. Harry is clearly driven half insane with jealousy for Will - the more successful, happier, more put together older brother. You know, proper Cain & Abel shit. Or John and Richard 1, whatever. The Pope and the anti-Popes of the Middle Ages. Henry VII vs Perkin Warbek. Tons of examples. And Harry's jealous of the relationship Will has with Catherine.

Meghan fancies William and is insane with obsessive jealousy over Catherine.

So rather than accepting that they would never be the prime couple, these two fools decided to set up a rival court. And that also helps explain why they're now so friendless. KC3, with love and respect is not long for this life. The world's A-List celebs, politicians and power brokers know that William and Catherine are THE Royal Family now.

So it's a binary choice - do you give your allegiance to the rival court of pretenders in Montecito? Or the ACTUAL Royal Court?

No-brainer.

I mean honestly this scenario has been played out so many times in so many different countries over millennia. The King, the Pretender, pick your side. There's nothing new about this.

If Harold had actually been humble enough to READ a book of British history at school (rather than taking drugs and bullying disabled women) then he would have known how this would play out for him.

I would like to add to this and suggest that Harry fancied Catherine.
Back when she started to be filmed at events with William and Harry, we could see how he was with her.
Always laughing and close by her.

I do wonder if that is the main reason Meghan is so jealous of Catherine.

I bet they thought Catherine was boring and no fun while Smeg was all Hollywood cool.

I get 'stupid' vibes from the sisters, tbh. Meg was oooh shiny minor actress, glamorous () American woman whereas Catherine probably reminded them of the hardworking girls at their schools. I can see why they would welcome Meg. I think they are silly sheep daughters who have been sadly exposed to dodgy dealings but never ran off away from their parents after they were of legal age, because the precedent/money/connections all entrenched. They are adults now who still seem happy to take the money and opportunities.

I don't think they are particularly bright, they have been brought up by parents who go begging rich people for loans and who order their servants to line up their teddy bears. They're cooked.

While Catherine had a rich upbringing too, it seems her family, while ambitious, at least seemed to value family and effort. She's been a godsend for William to keep him grounded. Must be so easy to fall in the trap when you are high up the aristo chain and to fall in with leechy 'friends' and their drug habits and money grabbing and dodgy networking.

Heaven forbid that any of them said anything bad about Meghan way back at the beginning. The racism card would have had a major workout and used for everything. She and Harry would have jumped over anything about her with major clapbacks. That has been their MO from day one and still continues. They haven’t learned that after using his book, that contained insults and mistruths, Oprah and Bradby interviews, it isn’t working anymore. None of it is. Did she actually learn something from all of this? Is that why she copied the cream first, jam second on her hockey puck? Do something just like William, so it will make her look like the kinder and gentler Meghan? Good luck with that Meg.

What pisses me off about them using the racism card is that it works on the principle that there couldn’t possibly be any other reason for you to dislike her. The only reason why anyone could criticise her is that they’re racist. It’s so lazy and reductive.

Honestly I think Meghan is jealous of Catherine because Catherine is everything Meghan cannot be: poised, graceful, beautiful, kind, at ease with herself, centred in her own principles, decent, honest, and loved by her family for WHO SHE IS and not because "she'll let you do anything".

Meghan would be best off remembering that in life there will ALWAYS be someone better looking, more successful, cleverer, braver and more put together than you are. This is true for ALL of us. The answer is not to stew in bitterness and destructive envy but to recognise (and seek to improve) your own weaknesses and play to your own strengths. However this involves have a moral core and true self-knowledge. Both of which Meghan lacks.

Don’t be so cynical, they act below the radar on most things to ensure privacy. You might want to know that they actually recently visited Australia under the radar and we are just finding out small details now and I hear from friends in Geneva that Meghan went to Geneva under the radar a few weeks ago to help solve social media bullying - nobody in the world knew and she happily made a speech to an empty square rather than make a fuss and inform every media outlet in the world in advance.

I was about to write something similar. What a brat he is. He was given nearly everything that he wanted except the official half in and out. I felt annoyed reading that his father has apparently given him 'carte blanche to do royal style tours' and hope that isn't true.
Apparently the RF didn't do enough to help him when they were first married although they gave them a house to start with! Nobody has ever given me a free house.

If he'd kept his mouth shut and visited his dad every year like a dutiful son bringing the flatpacks to see their grandfather, Charles would likely be sticking his hand in his wallet to help them out on a regular basis.

Harry has still learned nothing. I hope they end up bankrupt.

It’s very indicative of just how entitled they both are. What they had to ‘suffer’ inside the royal family boils down to not having equal status with the then Cambridges. They felt slighted because they were lower in the pecking order. They weren’t allowed to muscle their way into places they had no business being, and were resentful that the Cambridges - the actual future King and Queen - got more than they did. They still had a very comfortable lifestyle and were very wealthy by most people’s standards. High status (although not high enough for their taste), free luxury accommodation, elite holidays, getting to rub shoulders with the high flyers - who were all delighted to meet them…but it wasn’t enough, because William had more. And yet it never occurred to them that HMTLQ’s other children were never treated equally with Charles. And now they allegedly feel they should have reparations for that? They can go and scream into the void.

He is a free man. He can come to the UK whenever he wants.
I know it's a bit much to expect him to do anything for himself, but he could contact a Real Estate company and buy a house somewhere secluded.
He could spend time here without fanfare. If he wanted to.

What are they gonna do, hang out at airports all day every day in case they catch him getting off a plane?
