The Wise Men advanced slowly through the doorway onto the straw-laden floor. Each bore their own gift to the little figure in the manger, to which they bowed in solemn reverence. Outside, the star which had guided them thither shone down so brightly from above. The air was filled with a hushed awe and expectation.

'Hey,' cried Mary, suddenly. 'Wasn't it you three I had a drunken foursome with, nine months back!?'
