I had Malbec last night and my tongue and teeth were black and my lips were when I woke up 😂

Does anyone know if some red wines cause more staining than others? It’s put me off Malbec even tho I like the taste

Now this is a thread I can get stuck in on!

I’m a white wine lover - NZ Sauvignon
My username is actually one that’s sold in Aldi and it’s delicious at £4.99 a bottle

Red - I like a Pinot Noir Adnams is my go to for that but I do like a Sancerre Rouge
Recently had a good Beaujolais from Aldi but it’s been discontinued 😭

Rose - Whispering Angel or Sancerre rose

White - I like a Chardonnay or pinot grigio - but I like them oaky which most drinkers hate! Wolf blass 👍
Red - malbec, merlot. Trivento 👍
Fizz - bored of them especially as they seem to be getting sweeter for my taste buds.

I personally dislike Chardonnay, as it has too much of an oaky flavour for my palate.

But I do like white wines of the Loire Valley - Pouilly Fumé, Sancerre, Vouvray, Sauvignon blanc. Pouilly Fumé is my favourite, the kind of wine you can just drink on its own.
Excellent taste ! .. I like 19 crimes from Australia . But I’ve never come across a bad Poilly fume which has to be my fave , Aldi used to do a lovely one , they stopped , just under a tenner too , excellent value . Close second is a Sancerre . Then a Malbec, the co op do a nice one around £7.50-£8.00
I like a Pinot Gris over a Pinot Grigio
Chardonnay I find too sweet as apposed to oaky , it makes my back teeth hurt
