If you like French wines you will probably like a Sancerre. You can get Sancerre Rose which is delicious!

I like a Gavi and Pinot Grigio. Also quite like a good Chablis. I prefer a dry light wine so not really into your typical sauvignon or chardonnay personally.

This is a nice Sancerre https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/hubert-brochard-sancerre/838115-499522-499523
It's not French but I rate this pinot grigio https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/the-ned-pinot-grigio/074221-37684-37685 they also make a pinot noir but haven't tried it.

All depends on your budget/grape preference really. Aldi have some good budget wines.

Go in to Majestic if you have one nearby. They have so much choice and all different prices. If you tell them what you like they’ll give you recommendations.

I like English wine it is just very hard to find - I second yellow tail.
Have you tried Chapel Down Bacchus?

I'm not normally a fan of sauvignon and it's quite akin to a sauvignon but I really enjoyed it. Can't buy it where I live, gutted!

Favourite red is Pinot Noir goes down too easily
Favourite white is Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc, I do not like Chardonnay

I have never liked rose but I would like to like it in the summer 😂 any recommendations for a nice rose? Not the bright pink looking ones as too sweet
Most people would probably recommend Whispering Angel, which is nice, but I think it's a bit overrated for the price. It's not particularly unique IMO.

A bottle of Dino from Tesco is £5 and I think very nice :ROFLMAO:

It's probably a bit boujie but I bought a bottle of this in Heathrow airport and it was soooo good. Wish I had more!

They have a white version, I'm sure it'll be nice too.
Well I wouldn’t be diluting it with lemonade 😂 yes I have been doing that since having baby number 3. But only with cheaper wine. If I paid more I’d make sure to taste every drop 😂

My favourite white is Yellow Tail Chardonnay - I love Australian white wines. Favourite rose is Campo Viejo Rose. I can’t drink red wine - gives me awful headaches. Anyone know any light red wines? I used to drink a Beaujolais from Tesco years ago which was nice.

The people I know who really know wine often say Lidl's wine tour turns up some serious goodies. Multiple, unrelated people have recommended it as a good, inexpensive way to find really decent examples of different grapes to try.

Personally a really 'good' wine is probably not something I'd appreciate as I like clean, light flavours, I don't really drink red but 'll enjoy a Pinot Noir, probably because its the closest red to white! I love a fresh, crisp white, nothing oaked. Chablis, Pouilly Fumé, Sancerre, Gavi would be my go to chilled in the summer
Whispering Angel is a gorgeous French rose but £15-20. Nice to take as a gift.

I love a white. Cloudy Bay and Ara Select Blocks are fucking delish. Both NZ Sauv. I accept that is pretty basic bitch. If I am being an absolute wanker 2018 was a good year. *who the fuck am I*

Can't beat a nice barbera or Argentinan malbec for a red. Sainsburys have a really good selection.

Love the Miraval Rose too.

I'm a red girl too.

Campo Viejo rioja tempranillo is my favourite
I have had this one before I do like a Rioja. Yes this was a good one it’s been a while I’ll have to try it again.

I don’t think I’ve tried Sancerre I’ll have to try it. I’m happy to pay a bit more for a good wine.

I’m looking for decent wines. I’m generally a red girl but have recently started drinking white too but red is still my favourite. I like French wines, I know they much 🤣 they’re quite mellow (excuse the non wine lingo!) I’ve just not found THE wine yet.
I personally dislike Chardonnay, as it has too much of an oaky flavour for my palate.

But I do like white wines of the Loire Valley - Pouilly Fumé, Sancerre, Vouvray, Sauvignon blanc. Pouilly Fumé is my favourite, the kind of wine you can just drink on its own.

Laithwaites do some nice wines and they do mail order too.

That is a gorgeous Red wine and I have a couple of bottles left. I don’t drink much wine these days, but if I was going to start drinking it again, this would be my go-to wine.
