I feel these types of GFM are more genuine, than someone forgetting travel insurance then becoming ill or getting hurt abroad.

But you're right that we still don't know much of the detail. It says they will donate a portion to charity, but that is vague as usual with these statements.....is that 1% or 99%. There is so much that is open to interpretation with GFMs.

Absolute disgrace I know these people and they will convince them self's they are THE RELEVANT CAUSE after burying your child is hair extensions really your priority says enough really

Is the Turkey hotel room wrecker still out there? I've not been able to find anything about it since early July.... the GFM has been closed after raising a paltry £1.5k

The poor guy that fell at Oasis. There was a GFM in days. It’s so bizarre it seems to be the automatic reaction.
A friend passed away and a family friend started a GFM, some of us know our friend who passed would have hated it.

I thought that too about the Oasis death. Not to sound harsh, but the family are bound to get a big payout from the venue or the organisers. Same with car crash fatalities, the insurance will give a big payout. It might take a few years though.
