Did anyone have a plan in place for titerating down and coming off, or are you playing it month by month to see how it goes?
I never went above 2.5. I just started taking them every 10-14 days rather than weekly before stopping

Thank you, i really do think I am overthinking it 🙈 i feel that I need a proper dated schedule and plan to make it work 🤣 i currently have 5lbs to go to hit my goal weight then i'm looking to keep at that weight for 4 weeks, before starting to move down.

No fixed plan
Im a few lbs off my goal
But I've ordered a 7.5mg for my next pen.

Rough plan is to do 2 months of that and then try to step to 5mg for 2 or 3 months then hopefully 2.5mg .
It'll all depend how i feel stepping down.

I am in no rush to stop and want at least 6 months of maintenance (within a maintenance window) before stopping to give myself the best chance.
I would love to stay on forever but it's an expense I'm not sure i want, but ive spend about £4.5k already so don't want to come iff too soon and waste than money .

I won't use outside my prescription (so only so no short dosing or spreading it out) so makes my options quite simple 😂

I went up to 3.75 and when I was pretty much at my goal stretched it out to 2 weeks, then dropped to 2.5 and stretched that out to 2/3 weeks before coming off altogether. Still pretty much logging my calories where I can, but not totally strict on it, but they days I do, I try to stay within my calories. Been off it now about 3 months and not put any weight on.

Max i got up to was 6.25 for a few weeks. I had a vague plan but it was dictated by what pens/doses i had left. I came back down to 5, 3.75 then 2.5 I think

X marks my spot, did not know this thread was here.

Have been off since mid December but can feel/see the inflammation growing.

I was on for 6 months, lost 14lbs could not go hight than 2.5mg, was very ill otherwise.

Think i will get another 2.5mg pen and just jab every two weeks.

Was not happy that I only lost 14lbs but inflammation annoys me more.

Stopped partly due to cost as well, but will eek it out.

Popping my head in. I’ve lost 6 stone over the last two years on MJ and now a healthy weight. I wouldn’t mind losing a little bit more but have stalled recently and it’s just so expensive I’m considering starting to scale back down the doses to eventually come off but I’m so worried about food noise returning.

I go to the gym 4 times a week and in the best shape of my life so hoping that will help me with maintaining my weight loss but still very nervous

I'm the same, at nearly a 5 stone weigh loss things have stalled a bit now and I would like to loose one more if I can but am not sure if to keep ordering or tirate off, but as I doubt I will be allowed back on I am scared!

Has anyone had the £30 maintenance call with swift doctor and can tell me what they discuss? Wondering if it’s worth paying for. I’m about 2lb away from BMI under 25. Actually still not sure what to aim for maintenance wise, especially as I do need to work on body composition and become leaner regardless of weight/measurements.

like many I won’t be able to stay on MJ for as long as I would have liked since the price increase. I’ve got one more 10mg pen left, so 5 weeks, then I really do have to start titrating down regardless of where I’m at. Really worried about intense hunger returning. But will see how funds go and I’m hoping even a low dose is better than nothing even if it’s still a struggle hunger wise.

Hopping in as preparation for titrating down soon. My original goal was to get to a bmi of 27 and my weight is 4lbs off that atm.

I'm currently on 6.25mg and have been for the last 4 doses, will keep on dosing at 6.25mg until I've hit my goal and then I think I'm going to just inject normally and do 5mg. I'm happy to lose more weight than that but it's the cost more than anything and my original goal was just to get under bmi 30 for a medial referral which I've done, the goal of 27 was more of a personal goal just as a buffer as I'll need to maintain my bmi of under 30 for an extended period of time from referral acceptance (I did this in December) to funding approval which is likely to be towards the end of the year.

My plan is to drop down slowly so go from 6.25 to 5mg, then 3.75mg to 2.5mg - has anyone ever done 1.25mg or is it hardly worth it? Just terrified of gaining any weight back!

I'm the same with regards to being in no rush to stop, if I have to stay on a lower dose for a good few months, then I am perfectly happy with that. But I do want to give myself the best chance. I have to order another pen today, and i'm in 2 minds what dose to order.

Im currently taking 12.5mg and I'm 0.2lbs away from my target weight of 5 stone loss. I have a 10mg in the fridge ready to go but now i'm thinking, should I stick on the 12.5mg for another month, just to level out.

My "issue" is i have not had any of the big good side effects ie i've had no suppression and not much satiety. If I remember correctly, that is kind of the same as you. So is it worth sticking on the higher dose when I genuinely don't feel it makes a big difference to me, or do I just bite the bullet and start going down? I can still eat my three meals a day, i'm just making better choices. I do believe willpower has played a part, which im hoping will go a long way to helping me when I move down.

Okay after all that and actually seeing it written down, I think i'm going to go down to 10mg. I obviously just needed to talk it through with myself 😂

Yep, no real supression, but reduced food noise (as long as I eat well)

Maybe some willpower but it's the planning and prepping that's been my success over the last 18 months and I need to continue that even with more disruptive food noise. I've struggled a little since I went down to 7.5mg as I've been craving more quick snack stuff and giving in vs really mini meals/proper snacks that I've planned.

I'd say go down and see. If they worse happens you can go back up.

I'm happy staying on 7.5mg but definitely don't feel that I want my next own to be 5mg
I know

Planning has definitely helped for me. I plan my next days food the evening before so I always know what i'm doing.

I got the 10mg, so fingers crossed 🤞🏻 i think by not having any real side effects, good or bad, will hopefully make it a bit easier to come off. I've never had to rely on the medication to stop me eating so it shouldn't be too big of a shock to the system.....hopefully.
