Gladiators #2

New to Tattle Life? Click "Order Thread by Most Liked Posts" button below to get an idea of what the site is about:
£35 each to meet and greet a Gladiator at the NEC experience, plus the actual entrance tickets!
Does anyone know if they’ll do another tour with meet and greets?

No news yet on another tour, but given that the last one was a massive success and series 4 has been commissioned, I’d say it’s likely that it will tour again.

2 or 3 gladiators have come out and said that there will be another tour this year. No official word yet though. We will 100% be trying to get tickets again, it was so good last year. Will also try for filming tickets but feel we will be unsuccessful. We enter for every date but still never get tickets.

Great show today. Won't give out any spoilers, but we all really enjoyed it.

I really didn't like Suspension Bridge, it's just a worse version of Duel.

They really need to get rid of Viper, he is so, so bad. I've heard he's a lovely person in real life but as a Gladiator he's useless and gives an unfair advantage to whoever he's facing in an event as it's a guarateed max amount of points.

The producers also need to tell Apollo to stop trying to be menacing. I've had bowel movements that have been more dangerous.

Suspension Bridge is an interesting one and seems a bit unfair for the contender.

It’s been good to see Montell Douglas doing expert analysis on the bobsleigh this week. She’s the only British female to compete at both the summer and Winter Olympics

I'll spoiler this for those who've not yet watched, but isn't it likely that a stand-in will always win the eliminator because unlike the other contestant they've not exerted energy in all of the preceding games? Of course there may be evidence from previous episodes to disprove this, and I don't know what the alternative solution would be so I'm just thinking out loud 😂

They have a very long break between events. Normally an hour +, so its not truly that much of an unfair advantage.

Gotta say, quite disappointed for both Mark and Tyler as I liked both of them 🤷‍♀️
So did I, when they were both introduced I was like, I don’t know who I want to win. That was solved for me later in the episode through when neither of them did 😂

I read that the usual means of selecting the fastest runner up for the semis wasn’t in fact the fastest but the contenders involved were subject to a Duel off. Except none of the contenders fell, so Mark Clattenberg picked the two contenders who would qualify. This was from people who were there. Seems a bit misleading to not mention that but it is the BBC…

In some ways it’s probably fairer Josh got back through because in his heat he was super close so probably would have qualified anyhow.

I mentioned to my daughter last night that they described the returned contestants as 'one of the fastest runners-up' not 'THE fastest'.......makes sense now
