Hes a lot smaller than he used to be. Mitch being so successful changed a lot of things about how they approached training, but yeah, we won't be seeing him on unleashed!

Can’t seem to form my thoughts into coherent sentences today but I still think ‘all rounder’ gladiators make for a better game.
seeing a Stoltman on the glass pushy door game against a 5ft 6 guy isn’t gonna be much of a competition.
Yeah i get you. I prefer all rounders too. Otherwise it gets a bit predictable when it's the same 3 or 4 who only do certain events.
I suspect they’ve gone for the visual of a HUGE massive man (he’s at least 2 inches taller than any of the current gladiators I think) so all the little kids gasp in awe

It’s so on brand for this show to replace one big guy with another…big guy. Hope he’s decent but he looks like he’ll struggle with any speed based events.
Omg he makes Legend look tiny! He's surely not gonna be great at any of the agility or running stuff though?
I think they were already looking for a new male and female Gladiator to join, and then with Giant departure they’ve maybe added 2 males? So maybe still a new girl to be announced ?
I think they are getting 2 male and 2 female gladiators.
They were advertising way before Giant left. My opinion is it was all the injuries last year, they had so many out and the same gladiators were having to do so many events for the recording, I am surprised there weren't more injuries in the end!
I'm thinking they're going for more of a known name to cover up the lingering tit show smell of Giant & ex OF girlfriend.
If they wanted a strongman, they could have gone for Paddy Haynes. He used to be a runner so would be more agile than big Tommy

Yes, I agree with why they’ve gone for a known name - he’s already got a fan base and lots of Strongmen fans are happy in the comments - and counteracting those still lamenting Giant

I wouldn’t have said Giant was the most known Gladiator, for me I’d never heard of him and Nitro, Legend and Fire have all done more things since which I’ve watched like Strictly and other reality shows. Probably a 'big' name like Titan, Atlas etc.
But would be fun to give him a Scottish theme name, but i am not sure what that would be.

I was going to say exactly the same - Highlander would be great! Love that they have replaced Giant with someone even bigger and relatively well known
no one is irreplaceable (well apart from Legend maybe).
He was on a Gladiators edition of the Weakest Link once and he was thick as a brick.
