I didn’t know so thanks for flagging itI'm sure almost everyone on here knows anyway but there's a new George Michael documentary on tonight. Channel 4, 9pm. Probably lots of sleb talking heads but extra George is always a pleasure to see.

That's another reason to watch. A bit of George might help my anxiety chill the duck out. Shaking isn't it.This would be lovely after tuning in at 9pm last night 🫣. Thank you![]()
Oh for sure. I kept thinking of George last night. A true talent and starThat's another reason to watch. A bit of George might help my anxiety chill the duck out. Shaking isn't it.
I’ve been twice. He’s really good. Sounds very like him but defo doesn’t really like him. It’s a great night out!Has anyone been to the Fastlove - George Michael tribute show ? My daughter got tickets and we're going on 1st October in Southampton.
I usually go to see Rob Lamberti so hoping this show is good.
He secretly paid for a lot of medical procedures for people which the NHS didn’t cover, such as breast cancer treatment. And never publicised it.After all the Yog adoration in the Secret Celeb Gossip threads, I think it’s time the man, the legend, got his own thread (let’s face it, he’s more than worthy of one!)
I’ve been a fan of his since the early 90’s as I grew up listening to both him and Wham! My favourite solo album of his was Listen Without Prejudice.
He was a fantastic artist, an incredible human being, and was the first to have a laugh at himself. One of my favourite videos of him is where he’s refused entry into his own concertI can’t think of an artist since who can take the piss out of himself and kept it real as well as George did.
He is so, so missed
Thank you so much for highlighting this @Carefree it was exactly what I needed when I needed itI'm sure almost everyone on here knows anyway but there's a new George Michael documentary on tonight. Channel 4, 9pm. Probably lots of sleb talking heads but extra George is always a pleasure to see.
I was very young when the shuttlecocks down the shorts thing happened, but I can very vividly remember watching TOTP and my Mum abruptly changing channel, looking at my Dad and saying "He's not wearing any pants, that's absolutely disgusting". Me being me (and about five years old and obviously very innocent!), I spent the next half hour going "But how do you KNOW he's not wearing pants, Mum?" and being solidly brushed off.My mum denied me from seeing Wham! when they came to Bournemouth as she was absolutely disgusted with George shoving shuttlecocks down his shorts and not something a young teenager should be seeing!
You go gurl! What a great evening. I have a sore throat and my feet hurt.
And the dubious honour of being the first person to dance in the whole theatrehe sang I'm your man as his second song and I can't sit still for that

Aww yes!!!I bloody adored his Outside and Freeek music era too , and kicking about in the pinstripe suit and the goatee. He was giving no ducks and was filth , we love to see it![]()
