DITTOUnison are just as bad. They sent round voting forms recently and the bios of some of the candidates were terrible. It helped me make my selection easier thoughas anyone mentioning trans rights was crossed off straight away followed by those wittering on about net zero/climate change and anyone talking about stuff that was generally irrelevant. I voted for people who were actually interested in workers rights not external issues and their pet politics.
Has to be said I have no faith in any of the candidates I did end up voting for and I'm planning to leave the union as soon as issues at my workplace are sorted out.
Okay, I've been at work all say and haven't has time to digest today's 'evidence' but surely, surely, if someone is as bad as they're trying to make out Sandie Peggie is, why wasn't she chinned about her attitude. Why didn't someone take her aside and tell her to wrap it. Why didn't someone raise a disciplinary action against her.
Could it be that maybe the witnesses are embleshing the truth to try and limit any compensation claim.
There is also the issue that if Sandie is as bad as they say, they might have reckoned the incident with Dr Uptogood was the perfect opportunity to get rid of her!!! In which case all these hand maidens have used "Beth" as their sacrificial lamb.
Either way, NHS Fife are coming across as bleeping maniacs who dont the first thing anout HR or disciplinary process!!!
And the Lynsey lassie who was supposed to be Sandie's pal!!! Jings!!! Who needs enemies!!!

I don't suppose Sandie is perfect, who is? But the attempts at character assassination here by her employers are appalling. Calling people up to say she's racist and homophobic are totally irrelevant, just as the attempted slurs on her husband and as for staying in Trumps hotel
I think this is an attempt to reduce her claim.If she was that bad surely she would have faced some disciplinary action before now
I hope she wins, gets a large payout and never returns to work in that toxic place. How could she want to go back there after what they've put her through, all for saying that she didn't want to get changed with a man in the same room.
If Sandie was as bad as they're making out, it would have been obvious to everyone who worked with her and not limited to a 7 person WhatsApp group.

I am on a Whatsapp chat with some old colleagues, and I mean Old. They say some near-the-knuckle stuff, betraying their age, their background and their sex. I love them but I don't put up with any tit and I am happy to call them out on it. They accept me doing so, and try to Do Better (genuinely) although they're too old to have a road to Damascus moment.
I have in my career been friends with people who came out with really unpleasant stuff and I stepped away from them. To be frank if Sandie came out with some of the stuff on this chat I'd have called her out about it and I wouldn't like her. But she might have apologised, realised it wasn't actually funny, and Done Better. I don't know. But I do know this has no bearing on her case.
