I think it has got to the point where women are going to have to start refusing to complete at all in races or competitions where men are allowed alongside them. I realise that this is extreme and I feel terribly sorry for those young people that have trained and trained at their sport but it's not a fair fight so if they all withdrawn en masse then it will be one dodgy bloke in the pool on his own.
I am a swimmer but I don't have a competitive bone in my body so it's easy for me to say but I really do realise what a terrible wrench it would be to do this but what is the point of competing against a bloke with an obvious advantage who will beat you anyway?

I do enjoy reading some bleep on Twitter thinking they have a "gotcha" moment with JKR, just to see her literally eviserate them with a well worded, factually correct reply. She really is an amazing woman.

Why can't men recognise this as reality and use their voices to make transwomen feel welcome in the mens. Use your advocacy on that.

Sainsbury's definitely scaled down the Pride stuff compared to last year though. Last year they had in the homewares section lots of plastic tat, waterbottles, t shirts etc for TRA month, whereas this year, in mine at least, all they had was socks and some totebags that I could find, plus the homescreen on the zapper guns. No bunting in mine this year.
And whilst we've seen examples every day in the press and on websites, etc, I don't feel like I've been slapped in the face as much this month compared to previous years. I see less acquaintances posting vehemently about it. Or I have got better at tuning them out
My employer (a uni) has however hired a new DEI lead, but I am hoping they will focus on the things that matter, like encouraging more kids from poorer areas to apply, like closing the pay gap, etc.
