Had such a sweet interaction at the gym this evening ☺

I usually go to a barbell class on a Thursday and while it’s predominantly female, there’s usually one or two men in the class. However, today I got there and set up early and a new man came in by himself. More and more women started to set up and he seemed to realise he was the only man there. He turned to me and said “excuse me, is this a women’s only class? I didn’t know there were any” And I said “no, there are usually two other male regulars who come” and he said “ok, thanks, I’d just hate to make anyone in here uncomfortable.”

I know it’s such a silly and simple interaction but it restored just a little bit of faith in me. Good men know and understand why we don’t want them in our spaces (even though this one wasn’t) without it being a “personal attack” ☺

I was at a seminar in work today. The woman delivering it kept referring to gender. I popped a comment in the chat and said something like 'When you say gender do you mean biological sex?' She was taking questions every few slides, read out mine and clarified she did indeed mean biological sex and she then referred to biological sex instead of gender for the rest of the seminar.

Petty of me? Maybe. Necessary? Yes.

I'm definitely becoming more confident in bringing my true terf self to work ✊ 💚 🤍 💜

That's amazing about Sandie Peggie. And speaking of amazing women, I'm running out of superlatives to describe JRK Rowling. She's set up a legal fighting fund for women to protect their sex-based rights:

She's incredible.

I'm in my 30s so peri-menopause plus menopause are still in my future, but I just wanted to say men will never fully understand how much we have to deal with cramps, blood, mood changes, fatigue, iron issues, hormone issues just from our monthly cycles, plus then those women who go through pregnancy and the after effects of giving birth have to deal with strain and risk upon their bodies, and then for years women have to deal with peri-menopause symptoms, then menopause etc. When do we bloomin' get a break? And some men have the gall to treat us like old unattractive witchy crones when we come out the other side having dealt with/suffered with all that for decades! Mother nature is very unfair when it comes to the distribution of pain upon the two sexes!

And then these 'dolls' want to try claim womanhood without having to experience any of that pain and anxiety and fatigue!

Hugs to any of us currently suffering with some aspect of our lived experience.

I appreciate this thread so much.

And it starts early - easiest way to deal with disruptive boys in class - stick them next to a girl.
This exact thing happened to my best friends daughter and she lost it with the school.

She's in primary 2 (so both aged 7) and he repeatedly gets warnings and has a behaviour report card. He was found twice hiding in the girls toilet in an unlocked cubicle. He has repeatedly asked girls in the class to show him their private parts. Every time there's been a complaint the school have responded with "nothing actually happened and we have to be careful as he's a young boy and doesn't understand".

He was moved seat a couple of weeks ago and sat beside my niece. He keeps taking her things, pulling at her hair, moving her books and just generally being a disruptive wee shite. Her daughter then got a warning one day for not paying attention and came home crying because she's never been in trouble before. Her mum spoke to the teacher and was told that they usually find if they move a disruptive boy next to a "girl that's a good influence" his behaviour improves.

She lost her shit. Why are little girls being conditioned that male behaviour is dependant on them. That they are responsible for "fixing" them. She's made a formal complaint to the board of education but the school system just seems to protect the perpetrator as usual.

My daughter at 7 was supposed to allow a boy to stroke and sniff her hair as it calmed him down. He had autism
. My daughter didn't mind initially when he started doing it , she found it sweet but it then got more frequent and he would seek her out. I spoke to the school and was made to feel like it wasn't a huge deal and my daughter didn't mind.
Err don't tell me how my daughter feels when you and the boy are pressuring her to feel it's okay cause it makes your life easier.
Moved schools not long after

Tom Daley was furious that men were prevented from opting to compete in women’s swimming events and were directed towards an ‘open’ category instead:

Apparently, it’s not fair: "Anyone that's told that they can't compete or can't do something they love just because of who they are, it's not on.” But it’s fine for women to lose medals to the likes of Lia Thomas, and to have to get changed with them.

Women aren’t people to Tom. They are hireable incubators who must serve men’s purposes or politely step aside and STFU.

There are only two sexes and nothing in between. You cannot change sex or trans the gay away.

Some people in 'the community' are wising up to the fact that the grift is over and the court cases are incoming at the speed of light.

Solicitors and barristers all over the country are about to make a lot of money from this shit.
I've talked about this before on this thread. My husband has a lot of friends who work in the legal profession. Law firms have been gathering information for years because they could see the future lawsuits coming.
Once someone like Peggie or the Darlington nurses win a highly publicised court case the floodgates will open and there will be thousands of women suing.
I can't wait.

That's pretty much what Peri is, reverse puberty.
@Brian Butterfield If your GP tries to give you anti depressants refuse (unless you do have a history of depression)
Personally I'm not on HRT because I do clinical trials and they often don't allow HRT, however they are finding it increasingly difficult to draw blood from me so it looks like my side hustle is coming to an end. If so I'm definitely going on HRT because
I am having terrible trouble with my bowels (not cancer) apparently there are estrogen receptors all through our intestines so menopause affects our digestion and on top of that your sphincter muscle loosens)
I do have a history of depression, but having been on antidepressants from 12 years old until my 30s, I'm well-versed in all that. Never want to go on them again, despite my depression and low mood; they simply do not work for me.

Getting a GP appointment where I live is nigh on impossible, but when I did finally manage to see someone, I was fully armed and adamant that I didn't want to be fobbed off with anti-depressants, and I needed HRT. I was very frank about my symptoms and how much it was affecting my life. She was great to be fair, and I've been on Lenzetto srapy and progesterone tablets for a while, but they're just not working for me anymore. I can't face the follow-up or the battle to try and get a face-to-face appointment, though, as I feel so much worse than when I first went over a year ago.

I begged my husband last night to do some research into menopause so he could try to understand what I'm going through, and he flatly refused and said, "There's always something with you. If it's not this, it will be something else". I actually hate him right now. I'll caveat this by saying I have a chronic illness, so this colours his attitude.

As Boy George perfectly demonstrates blaming JKR for a couple of thugs beating up a young lesbian woman. What an arsehole he is.

Is he forgetting his own dodgy history? Pretty sure JKR never handcuffed a young sex worker to a radiator! Correct me if I'm wrong but that was George wasn't it?

So now, they're taking their tops off to show their tits because tits are the only womanly thing about them? Is that right?

I mean, even if I was accused of being a man, I wouldn't show my tits to prove I wasn't.

This looks like a man who just wants to show their tits in public.

An AGP man.

Here's an old article on that Lily bloke. I have to say that his beard did him a massive favour, and made him look better looking than he is in reality:

He is a deeply creepy and unsettling man.

Also, this comment is enraging. Fuck all the menopausal women that actually need these hormones. There's a global shortage because of selfish, deluded narcs like yourself.

Lilly worries for trans women who don't have insurance to pay for hormones, and says many are resorting to buying hormones off the black market. She added: 'There is a global shortage of oestrogen and progesterone right now.'

I'm peri-menopausal, and it's left me so depressed and lost that I genuinely don't want to be here anymore.

"Tom Daley says 'it's scary how LGBT rights are being dangerously threatened'
"It's something again where minorities have to come together for the greater good because it is scary.
"And you may see someone else's rights going away and I think it's important that everybody, especially minorities, come together because it won't just be one group that gets targeted.
"Once one group has been targeted, it will move on to the next, and the next, and the next.
"I think the most important thing is staying visible. I think lots of people ask, 'What can you do to be an activist? What can you do to an advocate?'

Says the guy who paid/used a woman as surrogate to have his baby/babies. Shut up Tom and go back to your privileged life and (bad) knitting!
How basic his knitting is really annoys me 😂. It's just an example of how something can be done in a highly skilled way by millions of women and then a man is lauded for doing the same thing, badly.
