Absolutely this!! I imagine they like women to feel threatened and worried as they know they can have access to our spaces and there's nothing we can do about it.
I think for some AGPs, it's darker than that. An outsize proportion of known serial sexual offenders and known serial killers started out by cross dressing - prior to the trans takeover, this fact used to be well known and freely admitted in forensic psychiatry, well-established enough for Robert Harris to have the villain in his book The Silence of the Lambs demonstrate this pattern of behaviour (before moving on to actual human skins).
The famous FBI profiler Robert Ressler wrote about this. He theorised that cross-dressing for this subset of offenders was done not in loving imitation or in response to an inner gender dysphoria but specifically to express aggression and violence again the person being imitated - women, in this case.
Dressing-up as an act of dominance/aggression is as old as homo sapiens - it is thought that our cavemen ancestors donned the skins of the animals they hunted to express victory in the aggressive act of hunting and killing. Putting on the skin of the animal demonstrates your dominance over the animal, basically. Ressler theorised that on a deeply subconscious level, cross dressing rapists and killers were doing something similar. The imitator is also the hunter. If that makes sense.
I think for some AGPs, this is basically what they're doing (even if they don't consciously realise it) and that is why they seek to look as threatening and frightening as possible.
Sorry that got a bit deep but I think it's an important point, which trans activists are deliberately missing when they seek to present AGPs (even the violent ones) as legitimate members of the 'rainbow community'.
